We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Agresta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandria, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Things don’t take time, they take courage. This philosophy took root in my soul many years ago and has changed my life ever since. It reminds me that I have the power within to break free from the construct of time and step into the flow of courage. When we’re in the flow of courage, ultimately, times stop mattering. Time starts to bend and we do remarkable things in record-breaking time. Courage is the catalyst to being who we want to be NOW, and doing what we want to do NOW. Time is simply a witness. This philosophy means so much to me that I did a TEDx talk on it. Check it out! https://www.alexandriaagresta.com/alexandrias-tedx-talk
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the co-founder of Purpose Pioneers, a purpose-first organization that turns entrepreneurs into thought leaders and businesses into movements. We believe in a world where people fully align what they do to make money with what they do to experience meaning and fulfillment in their lives. We call it the “sweet spot” between purpose and profit, the integration between what is meaningful to the team and what is valuable to the customer. We use the power of purpose to create thriving workplaces by systemizing purpose into core components of a business- organizational structure, accountability, culture, decision making and marketing. I’m most proud of having the courage to pioneer a new frontier of business. It’s not always easy going first, but it sure is worth it. An obstacle I had which turned into a massive realization is that I’m not in the business of convincing, I’m in the business of inviting. I can’t convince, force or persuade anyone to do anything, but I can invite them into possibility and to experience truth and wisdom on their own. That realization has helped me quickly step into a business that’s magnetic. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
RED ROCKS!!! Red Rocks is my happy place and the first place I take all visitors, so they can experience the majestic mountains. I’d also take them to Cheesman Park, another of my happy places. Anything immersed in nature is at the top of my tour guide list. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Behind every great person is an even greater team. My team, community and support system deserves so much credit. I wouldn’t be where I am today without those who have lifted me up and cheered me on every step of the way. I also want to give credit to the strong men in my life who have been able to hold space for a strong woman- my dad and rock, Rocco, and my business partner and best friend, Thomas.
