We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Ravencroft and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandria, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Running my own business, this is a question I have asked myself and everyone around me more times than I can count. Each person I asked struggled to answer it as well. As I contemplated it and listened for the answer, one question kept coming up: “Do I still want to do this?” So far, the answer has remained yes. Yes, I still want to do what I do, even when it is hard or it feels like nothing is working. I also had an unshakable feeling that there was change just around the corner, and if I had just stayed the course, I would have seen what the change was. If you are asking yourself how to know whether to keep going or give up, ask your heart because the head gets scared, and it is always looking for evidence of danger, so it can keep us safe. The heart, though, believes in possibility, and when you are going for a dream. Traveling a path you have never traveled before, you need the heart with you.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tell us more about your business. What sets you apart, and what are you most proud of?

Leading Audaciously helps professionals—especially introverts and underrepresented leaders—step into their power and lead with authenticity. What sets me apart is my human-first approach that challenges outdated leadership norms. I don’t believe leadership has to be loud or follow a rigid model. Instead, I help people discover their natural leadership strengths and build confidence in their own way. I’m most proud of seeing clients realize they don’t have to change who they are to be successful. That shift is powerful.

How did you get to where you are today? Was it easy? How did you overcome challenges?

It wasn’t easy. I’ve worked across IT, mental health, and coaching, always drawn to understanding human behavior and leadership. Starting my own business meant facing imposter syndrome, uncertainty, and breaking into a space dominated by traditional leadership models. The biggest challenge was proving that introverted, reflective leaders are just as impactful as extroverted ones. I overcame this by staying true to my values, focusing on impact, and learning to trust myself. Each client’s success reinforced that I was on the right path.

What lessons have you learned along the way?

Authenticity attracts the right opportunities. The more I embraced my approach, the more aligned my work became.
Fear doesn’t mean stop—it means pay attention. It often signals growth.
Boundaries matter. Protecting my time and energy makes me a better coach and leader.
You don’t have to do it alone. Having mentors and collaborators is essential.
What do you want the world to know about you and your brand?

You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to be a great leader. I help people see their own potential, rewrite limiting narratives, and build leadership styles that fit them—not the other way around. You already have what it takes. My job is to help you trust it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Assuming they come when it is warm I would make sure that we did my most favorite hike, “The Enchanted Forest Trail” after our hike I would take them to Blue Pan Pizza for my favorite pizza and go chill for the afternoon in Cheeseman Park maybe catching up with some friends playing volleyball in the park. The park afternoon would need some ice cream from Liks. For night life we would go to X Bar to hang out with friends. On another afternoon I would take them to explore the Highlands and get ice cream at Little Man and Sushi at Bamboo maybe we even do a craft at the Upstairs Circus.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
