We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Wren and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexis, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
My goal is creating a legacy my children are proud of and can benefit from. When I started my own business i almost instantly noticed the inspiration it gave to my oldest son’s imagination. Listening to his ideas and the shift in the way he answers questions like “what do you want to be when you grow up” change from employee to owner has been one of my biggest take backs.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I make mostly crystal and semi precious stone jewelry. Our goal is to have all of our crystals and stones to come from ethically sourcing companies.I also focus on cleansing and harvesting the metaphysical powers in each piece made. This has been something that benefits my business as we focus on teaching and sharing the powers of metaphysical science it of course finds its way back to us. Its almost like its magic. I have learned you get back what you out out in this world. I strive to give out the best eneyand experience for anyone who may come across our products.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here in colorado springs one of my favorite restaurants to frequent is The Rabbit Hole Downtown. Its a great place to show off and the food and drinks never miss!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Some of my biggest inspirations have been my grandparents. My grandmother took me to my first jewelry class on pearl streen in Boulder, Colorado when i was 13 years old and the things I learned that day started this whole thing. I always have to also give credit to the love of my life, my husband was my main push to go from something I love doing to something I do for a living
