Meet Alexis Wren | Owner of The Wrens Nest

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Wren and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I started my first business I did it because I wanted to share my ideas and creations with others. That has since transitioned into sharing my knowledge with others as well.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Wren’s Nest is a Holistic Home Goods Company. Although we were previously know as Saphire Creations and most people recognize me for Handmade Jewelry, I am more than excited to share with everyone our new name and wide variety of products. At The Wren’s Nest we specialize in infusing bath & body products with herbs our family grows in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We also have home decor, non toxic made furniture, cleaning products and dont worry we still have amazing handmade jewelry. In 2023 we have taken some time away from events as we focus on rebranding, community building and setting a foundation for our next phase of business. I have learned not to jump into things and to move slow and steady can sometimes be better than fast and unfortunate. I hope to share our amazing products with you al and keep your eyes and ears open for what we have coming next.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my friends come to Colorado Springs my favorite place to go is straight downtown! With so many options it is hard to choose. Currently one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite to is Red Gravy! Also a great place to hang out with friends is Phantom Canyon Brewing Company up on the rooftop, they have great food, drinks, and service!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am currently in The Thrive Network an organization that empowers Southeast Colorado Springs residents to start their own small businesses. Since joining I have connected with so many new people as well as grown closer to some of my friends who are currently in the network as well. During this time I have learned so much information, as well have been able to gain mentorship and so much encouragement. Thrive is an amazing organization and I am looking forward to using everything I gained as I take the next steps in my business.
