We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, how do you think about risk?
Risk is about taking action and letting go of old habits. I strongly believe to go where you’ve never gone before you have to do things you’ve never done before. Taking risks are an essential element in business. I’ve always been a curious cat so taking risks comes a little to natural for me in life. I’ll put all my chips on the table and bet on myself every time. I think a lot of that mindset came from growing up in poverty and always knowing I was meant for more with zero evidence of it. Through all the mountains I’ve climbed it lead me here, in real estate with all the chips on the table.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a licensed real estate agent in the Denver area. I specialize in luxury and investment properties with west and main homes. I believe that real estate chose me and I just applied action. Easy? Nothing that’s worth it in life is easy. It’s not easy but I welcome the hard work, that’s what sets me apart. I know that if you want more than the average, you have to work harder than the average. It’s not all physical effort, it’s about the effort you apply to learning, growing and finding solutions. The effort I bring is to become a better person everyday and doing what I can to help others. Quality of life depends on your effort.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start by taking them to the Denver Botanical Gardens to appreciate the beautiful scenery. After that, we could head to the Denver Art Museum to check out some of the amazing pieces on display. For lunch, we would grab some delicious vegan burgers at City O’ City. In the afternoon, we would go on a hike at red rocks park and amphitheater to take in the stunning views. To finish off the day, we could head to the 1Up Arcade Bar for some drinks and fun games.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout out belongs to my daughter Justice. I was 17 and homeless until she came into my reality. That was the moment I woke up and told myself I can’t be this person anymore. I chose from that moment to take responsibility of my life. Every achievement was recognized but not enough. My drive towards success is relentless because I know I have to show my daughter what it looks like when you achieve your dreams.
