Hi Amber, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Our success comes from being authentic and having fun! One of my favorite parts about our brand is getting to show off our oldest daughter’s hand drawn pictures of our three kids that we were able to turn into our brand and logo. I also love getting to hear all the fun, creative ways people are using our all natural syrup for!

Getting to where we are has not been easy and we have had one challenge after another both personally and in our business. For that matter, just trying to run a small business with 3 young kids is a challenge in itself! A lesson I have learned along the way is that “we don’t know what we don’t know.” Asking for help and working with others who have been where we are can make a huge difference (thank you to Sari Kimbell with Food Business Success for this!) I have found a new passion in inspiring others while having others inspire me! After all…it takes a village!

Our kids and family have been the inspiration behind everything we have done and will continue to do! From trying to find a healthier alternative in the beginning, to hand drawing our original labels, and even having fun creating new recipes and fun things to use our syrup with we are so proud of our kids and all they have been accomplishing.

We also have close ties to our local communities and we hope that by actively participating in local events, supporting charitable causes, and engaging with customers, we will instill a sense of community and social responsibility in our kids and future generations. We hope to inspire them to learn the value of giving back and making a positive impact on the world around them, even starting with one small act of kindness at a time and continue to spread that inspiration to others.
