Meet Amy Moore | NLC, NCIP, NCPRSS INTERVENTIONIST, COMPANION, COACH

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I made an amends to a man from my past and relayed a story about an intervention I had done where the brother of the gal I intervened on called me The Drunk Whisperer. He bought my website and gifted it to me… The Drunk Whisperer was taken, hence “adrunkwhisperer”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have worked very hard overcoming many obstacles in this very male dominated profession. I have built a reputation that has withstood the test of time. I’ve been able to secure the trust of many individuals in the position to refer many high level cases to me. I’m honored to help the families that come across my path and I work tirelessly to help the families begin to heal during the pre- intervention trainings and education.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Culinary drop out to eat and visit 7 falls and cave of the winds in Manitou Springs, The mountains are a must when the leaves are changing and a hot springs trip is always a high priority, I love hot sulfur springs Colorado

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Kevin Peterson, encouraged me to start my own private practice. He also helped me obtain my NLC and has supported me all these years.
