We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Escobar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I love to read, last year I read 30 books this year I a commenting myself to a book a week. I’m always discovering new quotes and passages of books that inspire me, shift my perspective and often plant a new seed of thought. i Lately I’ve been on a Debbie Ford kick, this particular quote from her book has been guiding me for a couple years now and constantly reminds me that we have everything we need within us. In a world when we are taught to look outside of ourselves for approval, for success and more, reminding ourselves that all we need is inside of us, we just need to learn to tune into the inner voice and listen. “Remember, all the answers you need are inside of you; you only have to become quiet enough to hear them” This quote really embodies me as a facilitator, guiding you back to yourself so that you can find the answers you seek within.
What should our readers know about your business?
When I was 15 I saw the movie ‘A Beautiful Mind’ and I remember thinking, there is something wrong with what doctors are saying, there is a disconnect. There is no way this brilliant man is crazy. That day shifted everything in me. My plan was to go to school to be a psychiatrist so that I could prove that indeed there was more to this chemical imbalance, you are crazy and disturbed approach to mental health. When I was 18 the universe had a better plan for me- I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and in my own self discovery and healing journey I found the answers to what I was looking for when I was 15. I’ve been the patient and will never forget that feeling, that sets me apart from others doing similar work. I use a combination of somatic therapy, neuroplasticty and reprogramming to reconnect you with your authentic whole self before the trauma, the shame and/or abuse happened. I am a guide. I am more than happy to guide you along the way as long as you are willing to take ownership for your life and follow your intuition back home to you. Using my energetic gifts of claircognizant and clairaudient along with 10+ years of experience and constant research I have been able to help others regain a sense of self and connect with parts of themselves they had no idea existed. I get so excited when I lead a workshop and someone has an aha moment. Watching their transformation happen reminds me all to well of my own transformation. Having a client reach out after working together to update me on how amazing they are doing brings a smile to my face.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Anytime I have friends coming to visit, I like to ask them do you wan tot stay in Denver or do you want to explore the mountains. 99% of the time they say let’s hit the mountains which is perfect for me since I love spending time with mother earth. I’ve bee wanting to take a road trip around Colorado hitting up all the natural hot springs. We would for sure start off with a night in Denver where we could go to eat at one of my favorite sushi spots, Sushi Den and call it an early night. The next morning we’d wake up early, grab some tea and head on to Lookout Mountain to catch the sunrise, walking around soaking in the first few magical moments that the day offers before heading into Golden for breakfast at one of my favorite local spots Cafe 13. We’d get my jeep ready for the next few days on the road, grabbing all the camping gear and hitting up a few spots in Denver for some tasty and healthy eats to take with us. Breakfast burrito to go from Just Be Kitchen, along with some paleo snacks and desserts. Our first stop of the trip is Steamboat Springs where we will stay at an airbnb for the night. We’d have a quiet evening in, hanging out, catching up and getting settled in for the night. We’d wake up early and catch the sunrise at Devils Causeway and spending a relaxing afternoon at the Rocky Mountain Day Spa. Our last leg of the trip will be Ouray where we stop in Durango, grab some tasty lunch at The Harvest Grill and Greens, the beautiful farm to table restaurant supporting local farms. End the night at La Plata City Campsite where we can camp right next to the river. Explore the area, hang our hammocks and relax for a while before cooking up some veggie kabobs on the fire and ending the night with s’mores. The next morning we are off to Switzerland of America where we’d stay at the Box Canyon lodge, and relax at the hot springs. The next day we’d rent bikes and ride around the town, exploring before finding a spot to have a picnic. This is my kind of vacation.
