Meet Andrea Trujillo Guajardo | Tribal Program Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Trujillo Guajardo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, do you have a budget?
I do have a budget. I make my personal finances and lifestyle spending decisions based on the needs of my sons and husband at any given point in time.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am dedicated to mitigating the impacts of environmental racism. My career has spanned the spectrum of private sector engineer, business owner, nonprofit manager, and public servant.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The city where I am raising my family is a suburb of Denver, Lakewood, CO. In a week long visit, we’d go paddle boarding at Chatfield Reservoir. Skiing at Winter Park. Out to eat at Belmar Asia, Tapatio. We’d go walk at Red Rocks. We’d hike at Mt. Morrison. We’d hit all the thrift stores around the city. We’d sit on a rooftop on Larimer St probably Tamayo’s.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are people who are part of my story, Michele, Mike and Ana. My siblings that walk through it all with me.
