Meet Angela Bernard | Cosmetologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Bernard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angela, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been staying true to who I am, being honest, real, and always providing amazing service to every guest. It’s not just about the creativity that goes into their hair, but really taking the time to listen, connect, and understand them as a person. That’s what builds real trust and keeps people coming back.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a hairstylist of 26 years, my art form is so much more than just creating beautiful hair. It’s about connection, transformation, and helping people feel their absolute best. The journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges along the way, from trying to build and find new clients to facing the uncertainty of not always knowing when the next paycheck will come. But through all of it, my passion for this craft has never faded. It’s that deep love for what I do, for the creativity, the people, and the energy behind every transformation, that keeps me going! After all these years, I still wake up excited to do what I love, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. My brand is so much more than just sitting in my chair and getting your hair done. It’s about creating a safe space, a place of understanding, connection, and genuine care. When you’re in my chair, it’s not just about the hair; it’s about feeling seen, heard, and completely yourself. It’s a space to unwind, to be understood, to bond, and to leave not only looking amazing but feeling lighter, relaxed, and renewed. That’s the heart of what I do and what my brand truly stands for

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s funny because my best friend is actually coming this weekend from Chicago. And he will be here for a long weekend. We do have a fun Friendsgiving to go to on Saturday at the Clocktower Cabaret. Friday we will probably hang out around Denver go to Cherry Creek and try the new restaurant B10 I love the views and Cherry Creek and I just love walking around the neighborhood. Sunday, we will be meeting up with family and taking a trip into Estes Park.
If a friend was coming, that has never been here before I would take them to Estes Park, Glenwood Springs and enjoy iron Mountain Hot Springs. A trip to Vail is always fun to walk around in the village. I love good food and I love a good view so any of the rooftops in Denver would be amazing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I also have to give a huge shout-out to everyone who’s supported me along the way. My amazing husband, my family, my friends, and my loyal clients. Their love, encouragement, and trust mean everything to me, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
