Meet Angie Sasz & Lindsay Lineberry | Chef Owners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angie Sasz & Lindsay Lineberry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angie & Lindsay, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
We really wanted to create a business where we could still be present in our kids’ lives as full time moms, but also have the freedom to do what we are passionate about. We love being able to show our kids that we can be successful too and teach them the values of hard work and following their passions.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Simply Savor is a woman-owned, small business specializing in full service catering, charcuterie & weekly meal delivery.
Driven by a lifelong passion for food & service, owners Angela Sasz & Lindsay Lineberry continue to bring freshness & creativity to Denver’s catering market.
We love creating custom catering menus for Corporate, Wedding & Social Events to fit each client’s unique taste, budget & vision.
We are also excited to offer a weekly meal delivery service to relieve the stress of getting a healthy and delicious dinner on your table!
All of our Charcuterie Boards, Boxes & Grazing Tables include artisan cheeses, charcuterie meats, fresh/dried fruits and accoutrements such as assorted crackers, olives, nuts, cornichons, jams, honeys, vegetables and our crafted gourmet spreads.
We have had a few hurdles, including finding a commissary kitchen that was a good fit for us, but thankfully our business journey has only had one major hurdle – Covid, and that caused us to think of ways to still bring great food to people, in which we incorporated our weekly meal delivery. So we truly look at it as a win business wise for us!
We definitely learn lessons all the time since owning our own business came with a learning curve. We have made mistakes but continue to learn from them and continue to grow professionally & personally through our mishaps.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We both love the outdoors so we would definitely start by planning some hikes for the week – Roxborough state park, Evergreen, or even walking around the Bluffs in Lone Tree. We would have to get lavender lattes at Festive Cup, and Monk and Mongoose. Our go to lunch spots would include meals Cranellis, Carmines, and Indias Kitchen II. Our Dinners would be at Tribe in Castle Rock, sharing apps and wine at Postino or making our own meal in the luxury of our home!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
