We had the good fortune of connecting with Ash Redhorse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ash, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
This is a lovely question, it’s got a few layers but overall I believe it’s pretty simple. When all is said and done I’d love to say that I left everything on the table, left no story untold. I’d hope that we had a career full of discovering new places on tour, inspiring and uplifting others along the way and ending up in a situation where my friends, bandmates and I can still be close and reminisce about the “good ‘ol days”.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since we last spoke, we were in the middle of our first year as a band and just learning the ropes of live performance within Fort Collins. Fast forward to now, our band looks a bit different; new members, new music and a new approach to how we handle the more professional end of life as a band. In the time passed our music has taken on a new style as well by embodying more guitar and reducing “dead space” between verses. These two changes culminate a visceral energy that was lacking from our sound the year prior.
With all that said, we’re looking forward to the release of our new music which begins with “Runaway ” on March 24th.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My go to spot as of late is The Atrium. It’s located near Old Town and right under The Alley Cat Cafe, it’s perfect for studying, grabbing drinks with friends and seeing the weekly shows they host for local artists.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to shoutout some good friends of mine; Los Toms. They’re a psych/desert rock band from Fort Collins that bring amazingly trippy vibes and visuals to the music scene. Nate, their lead singer is actually a huge reason I’ve had such success in the town of Fort Collins, so definitely check these boys out!
