We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashli Clearwater and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashli, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own practice was born out of a need I repeatedly witnessed in traditional healthcare settings — patients feeling rushed, unheard, and placed into generalized treatment plans. I wanted to create a space where time is prioritized, where patients feel genuinely listened to, and where care is collaborative. My goal has always been to develop individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of symptoms rather than simply managing them.

Becoming a mother to two young children during COVID deepened that conviction. I personally experienced the isolation, the hormonal shifts, and the identity changes that come with that season of life. That experience gave me a profound empathy for other women navigating similar transitions. At the same time, through my work with men, I saw how often their hormonal concerns and wellness goals were overlooked or minimized.

I built my practice to support both women and men on their wellness journeys — helping them feel seen, understood, and empowered to optimize their health at every stage of life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What truly sets me apart is the way I blend clinical expertise with personalization and time. In wellness and hormone health especially, patients often feel dismissed, told their labs are “normal,” or that what they’re experiencing is just part of aging. I built my practice to be different. I don’t rush appointments. I listen carefully. I look at the full picture — hormones, thyroid, lifestyle, stress, nutrition, body composition — and create individualized plans that are both evidence-based and sustainable.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my patients place in me. Hormone health is deeply personal. Whether it’s a woman navigating perimenopause or menopause, a new mom struggling with postpartum changes, or a man experiencing low testosterone symptoms, these conversations require vulnerability. Creating a space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Business-wise, I’ve grown through consistency, education, and relationships. It wasn’t overnight. It was built patient by patient, referral by referral. I invested in continued training, surrounded myself with other wellness professionals who share a similar philosophy, and focused on delivering exceptional care rather than chasing rapid growth. There were definitely challenges — navigating entrepreneurship, staffing, financial risk, and building credibility in a field that is sometimes misunderstood. But I overcame those challenges by staying grounded in my “why”: improving quality of life through optimized health.

Wellness and hormone therapy can be controversial or misrepresented. What I want the world to know about my brand is that it is rooted in responsible, ethical, medically guided care. This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about restoring balance, improving metabolic health, strengthening confidence, and helping patients feel like themselves again.

At its core, my brand is about partnership. I walk alongside my patients in their wellness journey. I educate them so they understand their bodies. I create plans that are collaborative, not dictated. And I celebrate their wins with them.

I’m excited for the future because awareness around hormone optimization and preventive wellness is growing. More people are realizing they don’t have to accept fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, or low libido as their “new normal.” They deserve to thrive — and I’m honored to help guide them there.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Colorado has so many beautiful places to visit! Anything with a mountain view is a must! Love the farm to table scene in this city!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
That’s a beautiful question, because no one builds something meaningful alone.

I truly have to give credit to the community of practitioners I’ve intentionally surrounded myself with. From chiropractors and functional medicine providers to acupuncturists, Reiki practitioners, and fellow Nurse Practitioners, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with professionals who share the same philosophy of care — putting patients first and supporting the whole person.

Being connected to providers across different wellness disciplines has not only expanded my clinical perspective, but it has strengthened the care my patients receive. We each bring a unique lens, and together we create a more comprehensive, integrative approach to health. It’s incredibly powerful to refer to and learn from practitioners who genuinely want to see their patients thrive.

Their collaboration, encouragement, and shared commitment to optimizing wellness absolutely deserve recognition in my journey.
