We had the good fortune of connecting with Audrey Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Audrey, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that personal growth, values, and integrity are undoubtedly aligned with business. You will be asked to face your shadows and what matters most to you–all wonderful opportunities for learning, expansion, and healing if you allow them to be so. These moments will push you to become a better version of yourself.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Dear Juni is all about designing events and programming with authenticity. I design events with the goal of creating an experience that leaves guests with joy, a feeling they can pass on to others. These events are built with intention and connection at the forefront, something I’m proud to share.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I enjoy sharing the great outdoors and foodie spots with my friends. When my best friend visits, I like to take her on a jog or bike ride down the Platte or Cherry Creek trails, grab coffee at Confluence Park and then take a walk through town. I would grab lunch at Denver Central Market, shop at Modern Nomad, and then find a great afternoon patio. My favorite things to share with visitors in Denver are people being out and about and intentionally using the green spaces built in throughout the cityscape. And of course, day trips to the mountains for a hike (or ski in the winter) is a lovely treat!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In general, female friendships and mentorships have led me to where I am. From new restaurant owners who put their faith in me, to best friends all over the country, a small, tight-knit group of women entrepreneurs, TARRA, a strong matriarch lineage in my family, words cannot express the gratitude. These women have kindly and gracefully paved a path before me.
