We had the good fortune of connecting with Autumn White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Autumn, what matters most to you?
If I had to choose just one value it would be authenticity. There is great power in being wholly yourself and true to what is most important to you. For me, being able to connect with my friends, family and clients in an authentic and open way allows for deeper relationships. And relationships are the basis for my entire business.

Authenticity allows for real connection. Whether in personal relationships or professional settings, people can sense when you’re being genuine, and that transparency fosters trust. Every day I get to help people with important housing decisions involving big financial investments, strong emotions and a sense of home – every element of a transaction involves a great deal of trust.

Buying or selling a home is often the largest financial decision people make in their lives. My clients need to feel confident that I am acting in their best interest, providing honest guidance, and offering sound advice—not just trying to make a sale.

When my clients trust that I have their best interests in mind it creates clarity and and ease where they feel supported, informed, and secure throughout the process.

To me, living and working authentically is the only way to build a life of integrity, depth, and true connection. Authenticity creates a foundation with my clients where informed decisions, smooth communication, and long-term relationships can thrive. It transforms a transactional experience into a true partnership.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
There are a few things that set me apart from others in my field locally. I am a Boulder native so being born and raised here gives me some deep insight and market knowledge that is unique to those of us that have been here for such a long time. This is a great benefit to my clients.

I think my entire approach to a real estate transaction is slightly different. I’m a trusted part of the team – every buyer and seller has many things competing for their attention (family, job, life) and adding in additional complexities that come with buying or selling, the experience can get very stressful very quickly. My job is to remove as much of the stress as possible. Helping clients solve their housing needs is my everyday job, so I am able to provide all the information my clients need to make informed decisions throughout the entire process. By breaking it down and making one decision at a time it makes the process more approachable and usually makes it fun instead of stressful. It’s really about understanding the goals and needs of each particular client and finding the best solutions.

Having deep empathy allows me to understand some of the underlying and often unstated motivations and feelings that come up in transactions. I can help navigate the emotional elements that come up during a sale or purchase with gentleness, compassion and patience. It’s about truly understanding my client’s perspective, emotions, and goals, and responding in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, and supported.

Lastly, I am also very collaborative and communicative which makes the whole experience run smoothly – between my clients and myself and also with the agent on the other side of the deal – good communication has won my buyers the home when it was a competitive offer situation.

My client-centered and empathetic teamwork approach fosters deep trust during life transitions and usually leads to the formation or deepening of a long lasting friendship.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh my gosh! What a great question. There are so many places. I’ll base this on a summer trip because that is the time of year it is right now.

We would definitely hike Mount Sanitas before it gets too hot during the day and then stop by Wonder for a juice. We would take a dip in (or tube down) Boulder Creek to cool down as well. It’s like a natural water park and simply a beautiful place to hangout.

We would start each day exploring a new and incredible coffee shop – Ozo, Beleza, Boxcar, Bittersweet, Brewing Market, East Simpson, Cave Girl and Otis are some of my favorites depending on which part of the county I’m in. My favorite breakfast spot is Lucky’s Cafe.

I’m a big fan of watching the sunset on a rooftop. Avanti or Rosetta on Pearl Street have some spectacular views and are a nice place to have a drink before dinner. Pearl street in itself is a great to explore or shop or dine.

There is no shortage of amazing places to eat – we would likely go to Hapa, T/aco, Jax, Santo, and Brasserie 1010. There are really too many great restaurants to name in one itinerary. Some fun after dinner spots are Bitter Bar, License No. 1. and the Jungle.

The Boulder Farmer’s Market is amazing as well, so we would definitely go there are get some local produce and make dinner one night. If we feel up to hearing some music we can see who is playing at the Fox or Boulder Theater, or if we want a real treat we will head to Morrison to go the one and only Red Rocks Amphitheater.

We would take a yoga class at the YogaPod and enjoy the beautiful Colorado sunshine as much as possible.

This is simply the Boulder itinerary – but I have similar options for all of Boulder County and including farther destinations, like Estes Park, Loveland, Fort Collins, and farther mountains like, Winter Park, Breckenridge or Steamboat. So many incredible options to explore!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people who have helped me get where I am today. My entire business is based on service and helping people with housing needs so every single client and friend who has trusted me to help them with the process of buying or selling a home has been a part of my success. My daughter, Parker who has shown me how to slow down and be more present and my parents who help me regularly because being a single parent and business owner is a lot to balance without help.
