Meet Aza Rose | Stage Hypnotist & Unconscious Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aza Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aza, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I have always approached everything I do with a heart-centered mindset, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards every individual I encounter. Through the practice of hypnosis, I have found a unique way to positively impact the lives of those who attend my stage shows or seek unconscious coaching from me.
My stage shows deviate from the typical perception of hypnosis entertainment. Rather than making people engage in silly activities on stage, my goal is to facilitate a transformative experience. During the shows, I guide participants through a hypnotic guided imagery meditation, helping them tap into their inner strength to overcome any obstacles in their lives. The highlight of these shows, for me, is the profound message they convey—I firmly believe that everyone possesses the potential for greatness, and sometimes, all it takes is a special message tailored just for them. I find joy in hearing about the messages people receive and the sources, whether it’s a message from a lost loved one, their inner child, or even a past life.
In my unconscious coaching sessions, I assist individuals in uncovering deep-seated barriers that hinder their personal growth. Initially, I turned to hypnosis as a means to overcome my own anxieties during my transition. Now, being able to guide others in overcoming their anxieties and empowering them to live their most beautiful and authentic lives has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I never really considered myself an artist honestly, even when I was a hairdresser I considered that to be geometry and not art. I did always know that I wanted to use my voice to help people- I just never in a million years thought I could use my voice as my art. That little speech and debate nerd from high school would be so proud of where I am today and she’d be so proud to hear we still get to talk in front of so many people so often. The thing that really separates me and my shows from other stage hypnotists is the fact that my shows are completely different.
At my shows people aren’t coming on stage to do silly thing and be laughed at- people are coming on stage to receive that message that’s waiting just for them, they are coming up to change their lives. I didn’t get into hypnosis to make people act crazy I got into hypnosis to help people and I believe that is what my shows do. I get to chat with people who come to my shows and to hear time and time again about the messages they received, the insights that once seemed so far, and the lasting transformation has been amazing.
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. My first show was last February and I definitely went into it thinking I was going to do the traditional stage hypnosis thing and I was BOMBING. I tried doing the traditional stage hypnosis induction and it didn’t seem to be working. I started panicking and pulled this poor guy on stage and tried doing an induction on him and nothing. Literally at the moment when I thought “this is the worst show ever all these people probably hate me,” I pivoted. I said “okay we will just change what is happening.” I asked the audience for some things they wanted to overcome and I went into conversational hypnosis providing suggestions to help with those obstacles. It was then that I realized that I had to stick to the reason I got into hypnosis and I had to above all else stick to my heart.
My second show was smaller at the Haven in Fort Collins, but I went into it wanting it to be a journey for EVERYBODY in the audience. I went into it trying to help everybody start living beautifully and authentically. The show was a success and I haven’t looked back since then. Even when I do perform in front of a bigger audience or at a comedy club- it is with the purpose of helping whoever may volunteer-I ask them for a thing they want to overcome and help them actually over come that thing!
The lesson I learned is to listen to my heart and not to stray from that. I want people to know that at my shows I am always the one who is on YOUR side- I want to help you start living that beautiful and authentic life as soon as possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Naturally- depending on the weather- I’d take them on a hike or out on the boat at Horsetooth or Carter Lake. After that we would go to fort collins to check out The Haven and grab a drink at copper muse! I would then take them on a walk to downtown loveland and show them around Pure Vibes and take them to my favorite hole in the wall bar Tap and Tavern and if they wanted to try something new I would of course take them to Meadkrieger in loveland for some amazing mead. Regardless of where we go or what we do- if you’re hanging out with me we are having deep conversations and chatting the entire time. The best part of anybody visiting isn’t the places we go or the things that we do it is the connections that is fostered and grown together

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I could of course thank my mentors David Key, Steven Burns, Chris Thompson, and of course Mike Mandel because all of these people taught me what I know today about hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and neuro linguistic programming. However the number one person I have to shout out is my wonderfully talented and amazing husband Vincent Rose.
I started hypnosis as self hypnosis, but when I decided I wanted to try using hypnosis to help others he was the one who let me practice all these new inductions on him. When I started incorporating hypnosis into my business consulting business he was my first client. When I told him I wanted to do my first stage show he made my show poster and hung the posters up all over town. When I told him I wanted to go on my tour with the Mind Body Spirit Expo he couldn’t wait to start packing the bags.
He has sacrificed so much for me and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the love and support that he gave me over the years. I am so proud to be his wife and I owe everything to him.
