Meet Beth Waller | Interior Architect & Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Beth Waller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Beth, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We show up. We are reliable, responsive, and genuinely invested in our clients and their design projects. Our clients feel how much we care about them and bringing their design project to life. We believe the “design is in the details” so we focus a lot of our time learning about our client’s preferences, objectives, and how they need a space to function for them. For example, for a kitchen design we inventory all of the client’s existing “stuff” and make sure there is a designated spot for everything in the re-designed space.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our attention to detail is integral and essential to our design approach and that sets us apart. For example, a lot of architects or designers draw a rough outline for a kitchen design. We believe that in order to create a functional, efficient kitchen layout that works for our clients, we have to design the details up front like where the cutting boards, spices, and food storage containers get stored. When a client sees that level of detail they feel confident about how the space will function for them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the mountains so I would definitely take them up to Winter Park to hang out by the Fraser River, get cinnamon rolls at Bake Haus, fishing at the trout pond and hiking. Going to Chopstickers on the 16th St. Mall in Denver is one of our favorite restaurants and if it’s summer it’s always a must to visit Water World.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Peter Heinz is an architect I’ve worked with for the past 18 years. But I’ve actually know him since I was a little girl because I grew up going to school with his daughter. So it was a really full-circle moment when our paths crossed after I finished design school and we started working together professionally. Peter has provided support and mentorship over the years and when I shared with him the idea of starting my own business he encouraged me to go for it.
