We had the good fortune of connecting with Brad Poppie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brad, what do you attribute your success to?
Being impervious to change and having resilience towards unexpected roadblocks has proven to be my “secret sauce” in not only surviving through difficult times but growing my company to becoming a brand leader. I believe you have to be able to predict slower economic growth and have a game plan in place to help mitigate losses when these slower times present themselves. By doing this, you can position yourself in a growth-minded mentality while others in your field are retracting due to scarcity. The result is that when the economy turns around and becomes prosperous, your company will be positioned well above those that hibernated and retracted their business efforts.
What should our readers know about your business?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Denver has the best of both worlds – the city and the mountains. I’d say people come here for the diverse lifestyle Denver boasts. If I was to play tour guide for a friend visiting the area, we would certainly attend a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater and maybe even a Rockies game at Coors Field. Then we would head to the hills for some world class skiing or mountain golf if the trip was during the summertime. On the way back to Denver, we’d grab a pizza at Beau Jo’s Pizza in Idaho Springs!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, many highly influential people have blessed my life including mentors, family, and my incredible staff at Poppie Enterprises. They not only support me and my endeavors but pose challenge and critique when needed.
