We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Kwesell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency! We are top rated and 5 star reviews across the board because we consistently provide an exceptional service to our brides. There is no question about that! Not only will they look and feel beautiful on their wedding day, but they can also count on us to show up as professionals and feel confident in us to give them their perfect bridal look. Our consistency has built our reputation as the leading bridal beauty team in Colorado Springs. As the owner of The Day I consistently show up for my business. I am always working on it and always thinking about better ways to grow and evolve. It is so important to me that our brides know they can rely on us for their big day. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I like to consider myself and all the stylists on my team “Bridal Beauty Specialists.” We specialize in bridal hair and makeup and it is not only our profession but also a passion. It is not for the faint of heart. Brides look to us to give them the most beautiful day of their lives and that is a really big deal! I am extremely proud of my business and what we offer our brides to be. Not only do we provide exceptional bridal hairstyling and makeup but also pride ourselves on complete professionalism. I am very excited for what the future holds for The Day. We continue to grow and make a name for ourselves in the wedding industry. I think the biggest lesson I have learned along the way is that with hard work and dedication I can do anything. There are things that I never thought I could do myself that I had to figure out as a business owner. It is hard work, but so gratifying to watch it grow.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a Colorado Springs native I have a true love love for our city and it has been great watching it grow so much throughout my life. If we were feeling outdoorsy I say Garden of the Gods is an absolute must! I walk there regularly with my four year old daughter and even sometimes just take a quick driving loop through the park to clear my mind. I love that place and feel lucky to have it right in my “backyard.” With the growth of our city has come many new and exciting dining options. I love a good happy hour and yummy food but truth be told motherhood has changed that for me a bit. I am not out and about as much as I used to be and I wouldn’t change that for anything.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I love this question! I would like to give my first shoutout to the team of professional ladies that work at The Day. They are the best of the best in the beauty industry. They are all professional, beyond talented and represent The Day so beautifully! I am so thankful for their dedication to this team and our brides. I would also like to thank my husband for encouraging and inspiring me. He has always been beyond supportive of my business and for that I am so grateful.
