Meet Brigette Moore | Singing and Dance Instructor for Children

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brigette Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brigette, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Dazzle Kids because of my daughters. Before becoming a mom, I was working full-time as a high school math teacher and thought I had everything figured out. But after my first daughter was born, my perspective shifted. Holidays and summers just didn’t feel like enough anymore. I wanted more time, more connection, and to be more present. That desire is what sparked the beginning of Dazzle Kids
Soon after, I had my second daughter, and that desire for more time with my girls grew even stronger. Around that same time, I noticed my oldest showing a real interest in music. That sparked an idea: why not start singing and dancing classes for little ones?
I come from a performing arts background—my mom directed a children’s performing group, and I was enrolled in classes growing up. Later, I even taught some of those classes myself. I saw how successful her program became, and I thought, “Why not give it a try?”
Starting Dazzle Kids has been such a gift. I absolutely love teaching these classes. They bring me so much joy. I get to do something I love, share that joy with other families, and still make it home in time for lunch and nap with my girls.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Dazzle Kids was born from a mix of love for the performing arts and an even greater love for my daughters. What sets this program apart is the heart behind everything I do. The classes aren’t just about singing and dancing—they’re about connection, confidence-building, and bringing out their inner happiness. I create a space where little ones can express themselves freely, build social skills, and develop a love for music and movement at an early age.
As I mentioned earlier, I started this program with the hope of creating a schedule that would let me be more present during the weekdays with my daughters. I knew that might mean giving up some evenings and weekends, and I was okay with that. Along the way, I’ve also come to realize just how important my own happiness is in being the best mom I can be—and these classes have truly fulfilled my heart.
It hasn’t been easy. Starting a business while raising two young kids is quite a juggling act. There are moments of doubt, learning curves with the business side of things, and days where exhaustion takes over. But the joy I see on the children’s faces during class—and the gratitude from parents—reminds me why I started.
What I want the world to know is this: Dazzle Kids isn’t just a business—it’s a labor of love. It’s a celebration of childhood, creativity, and community. My hope is that every child who walks into my classes leaves feeling a little more confident, a little more joyful, and a lot more loved.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love anything that involves water, so a perfect day for me starts with packing up the car—paddleboards, a cooler with lunch, and off we go to Monument Lake. Before hitting the water, we stop by Mountain View Café for a delicious pancake breakfast to fuel the fun. Then it’s time for paddling, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful lake views.
In the afternoon, we head over to Red Rock Canyon for a scenic hike, followed by a visit to OCC Brewing for a refreshing drink and a bite to eat. And if it happens to be a Wednesday in the summer, we finish the day at Hillside Gardens, enjoying live music and refreshments in a beautiful garden setting. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and relaxation

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom has been the inspiration behind all of this. After my parents divorced when I was 12, she built her children’s performing group into something successful enough to support both my sister and me. Now looking back, I often wonder why I ever stopped teaching alongside her—it brought me so much happiness. It’s funny how life has a way of circling back, leading us right back to the roots that shaped us.
