We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Stremler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been singing and writing music as an outlet ever since I could talk. I always dreamed about pursuing music as a professional career, but I had so many people doubting me that I gave up that dream. It wasn’t until about a year ago when I met a whole group of people in the music business by chance and they told me I have what it takes. That was all the encouragement I needed to start taking music seriously. I knew it was going to be hard, but it’s my passion so I’m prepared for the work, and I’m committed to doing it the right way.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My style of music lies in the R&B/Pop realm. I think what sets me apart from others is my lyrics. I always want to make people feel something. I think music is here to give us something to relate to or something to learn from, so I always try to write from the heart. I definitely am not yet at the pinnacle of my success, but I’m working every day towards my goals. Even if it’s just 5 minutes I always dedicate time to music. And I believe in myself. I know I’m meant for something great, so I just keep pushing until I get there. The biggest thing I’ve learned is to believe in myself and appreciate myself. I’ve been through a lot, and I should be proud of myself and believe I have to power to turn my life around. Never ignore that burning feeling in your heart… just go for it! No regrets. I want the world to know that I’m here to spread all the love I have inside me so look out for me! I’m coming up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, the first thing I’d do is pick them up from the airport cause no one is taking an Uber on my watch! Then I’d have to show off the Colorado mountains of course, so I’d take them to my favorite mountain town Telluride for a couple nights cause it’s a DRIVE. Then we’d check out Denver and go to the Art District and hit some local restaurants. I don’t really eat out a lot so I’d have to check some Yelp reviews to find the good food. I’d take them to the studio with me to meet my whole team- some of the coolest people in Denver. And of course my favorite activity… live music.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Authentic 100 Entertainment and everyone who is a part of that group including Tye, Zino, Meech, Dani, Erica, Champ, Halley, Donnie, etc. have not only given me tools, equipment, and expertise, but also the encouragement, support, and love I needed to believe in myself. My biggest shoutout is to Darshalon Berry-Smith- my manager and friend who has been my biggest supporter. He believes in me more than I believe in me and I’m so grateful for his presence in this whole pursuit.
