Meet Bryan Vereen |

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Vereen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process was that we all have gifts, talents, and creativities that need to be put outside of our mind and seen for others to admire. My creativity within my motivational books, autobiographies, and clothing apparel is to inspire people as I have been with my videos as well. We all want to feel good and look good and that’s what my products give to people. I like to say I “OUTspire” people to be “INspired.” I have to put it out there for others to be INspired. I knew that a start up would be a little rougher than what we want to enthusiastically imagine, but as long as YOU have a great following and a product with a passionate person to push it people are going to be supportive.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Readers should know that I got to a point of “hoping and wishing” and had to take action or live in regret from all of the creativity and ideas I had come to me. I’m a firm believer that you should write your goals down and go after those things that are hitting you in the head until you accomplish them. I have talked to many people with great ideas, but never took action or believed in themselves enough to go out for it. We could all be business owners if more of us believed in ourselves and our products. YOU are going to encounter some that doubt, but the compliments I get are usually from strangers and YOU know that they mean it when they know nothing about you or have ties to you. Hard work screams volumes and consistency is key and having a variety of products for consumers to choose from is a great thing to have.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Manitou Incline, 7 Falls, Pikes Peak, and Garden of the Gods. All of these beautiful places I have been to including The Cave Of Winds and they are all beautiful and inspiring. To see the beautiful things that nature provides us and takes us out of our phones and out of buildings to enjoy the beauty that many people drive by and possibly ignore. The challenges of making it to new heights literally and being at the highest ground to see where we usually stand. Colorado Springs offers so much and the natural surroundings would be too ridiculous to ignore. The more and more that I have gone to these mountains and hiked them the more confidence I get and accomplished I feel to conquer the elevation and the resistance you have to go through to see what quitters won’t see. The mountain’s elevation is a perfect metaphor of the resistance you will go through in life. Yes, it’s going to be rough at first, but if you pace yourself and embrace the process and keep going you are going to get through and stop on top victorious. Some people won’t support your businesses or goals and ideas as you thought they would. Some people won’t show up for you. Some people will laugh at you, but you have got to see what most people won’t see. When that final product is able to be held is when people will start to take you serious. The Manitou Incline is a great starter for beginners as there are steps and a straight path to go up with numbered steps and supportive people that will tell you to keep going. It’s a small mountain, but its fun and the view is gorgeous. Once you finish the Manitou Incline that’ll build up confidence for 14ers as those are fun and adventurous and also challenging. When you think of Colorado you think of the mountain’s so of course you have to not only take pictures of them you have to take pictures ON them and WITH them. 7 Falls is so gorgeous from the water falls to the views and the rocks. The people you meet in Colorado as well. This is a vacation state and people are coming from all over and you are guaranteed to meet people you wouldn’t have expected to travel so far to the mountainous state. Pikes Peak was a beautiful and long hike….Yes I said HIKE. About 6 hours from bottom to top for me and my friends and it was so worth it once we made it to the top. There are some spots where the ice and snow never melts even in the summertime. Garden of the Gods is a beautiful red walk through, biking trip, or a drive. The reptiles, the deer, the people, the red dirt is just amazing and something you don’t see as much outside of Colorado. This list can go on and on and on as there is so much to offer and so much to see. Most people will probably talk about bars and hang out spots, but the best places in my opinion is to hang out…side. Nature never gets old as it’s therapeutic and WE all need it to calm us and relax us because nothing is more natural than nature!
