Meet Bryant Godoy | Florist/Floral designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryant Godoy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryant, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is that no matter how many other people do the same thing as you, your customer/clientele will always come back because of your work and what you provide. When taking pride in your own work and be unique to set you apart from others, those clients are going to keep coming.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I create many different floral arrangements for any occasion, I mainly specialize in bouquets while still offering many different options. Something that sets apart my business from others is that I create bouquets that are each unique and different. From natural Roses to Eternal Roses to money bouquets even handmade Roses. At first, it was challenging, not having many people who support you and not having any customers was difficult. It was a big investment at first, it was a risk. But if it wasn’t for that risk I took I wouldn’t be here where I am today, now I am a business owner at 17 years old, and soon opening my own floral shop in the Denver area. Not only will I offer flower arrangements but will also have supplies for any other florist who is looking for material to start their own flower business, there will be lots of other gifts for any special person.
I want the audience to know that anything in this world is possible, as long as you put your mind into it and work hard, it will become possible. I started this business from my own living room at 15 years old. The only thing you need to be successful is believing in your self and rely on your self.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not the person that goes out a lot but one of my favorite places to go is Bowlero in Lakewood, affordable prices with unlimited bowling, great food, overall a fun experience for bowling. I also enjoy going to the rec center pools in Westminster (Westminster city park rec center).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout out to my mom and grandma they encourage me to do better every day and support me no matter what. They help me decide if I should take risks, they tell me how if I do not take risk in life might regret it because I will never experience/understand the opportunity until I take the risk. It’s better to regret things that you did rather than to regret things you’ve never done.
