We had the good fortune of connecting with Cade Wood and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cade, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
The thing that inspires me the most is that I have the ability to impact so many people the way I wish I had been. As I began to pursue the world of social media and modeling, I always knew that I wanted to impact people in the right way, I wanted to showcase that, regardless of where you came from, you have the ability to have an impact on others. Everyday, I receive 100’s of DMs of people telling me how I have inspired them to go to the gym, change the way they eat, or start pursuing something they are passionate about. That is what inspires me the most, to know that I am having appositive impact on somebody else’s life.

Something else that inspires me is that everyday, I get to pursue my dreams. I have the ability to pursue the things that I could have only dreamt of because I was too scared to put myself out there. I am living the life that I have always dreamt of, and who couldn’t be inspired by that?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
There are quite a few things I believe set me apart from other people in my niche; one of them being that I am not one-sided. A lost of models/influencers tend to fit into a one category, or they specialize in one aspect (fitness, high-fashion, catalog, fashion, etc.) and I have done my part in all areas. This makes me well-rounded and allows me to provide more value to my followers. Fitness is my passion, and that is why a lot of my content tends to steer more in that direction, and also why I am referred to as a “fitness model.” However, I do all sorts of work.

I am most excited about what is to come, it may seem like I have done a good amount, but we’re just getting started. I have created so many more connections that have begun opening doorways to brand new jobs, content, and this is something that motivates me everyday. We have the opportunities in front of us to truly create a legacy and that is very exciting.

HELL NO it wasn’t easy. It still isn’t easy, but I have a direction I want to go and this allows for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have lost a lot of friendships, relationships, sleep, and my sanity at times all to the world of influencing. But, the rewards greatly outweigh the hard-times. I have been awarded the ability to travel, meet some incredible and very influential people, and create a name for myself.

What I want the world to know about me is that I will always stay true to myself, and I want others to do the same.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are quite a few people that deserve shoutouts, this has been a long and stressful journey, but I am so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people.

First off, my family deserves so much praise. They always have supported me in this journey, and even though they may not have always understood it, they knew this was something I wanted to do. They were able to see how passionate I was and that I truly loved what I was doing.

Next, I have an amazing network of people who help me with everything. Quite frankly, social media is not as easy as people think, a lot of work goes into it. My videographers/photographers Levi Scrivner, Christian Huerta, Corey Wilkes, and Gavin H. are all responsible for how far I have come and the impact I have had. Without them, I don’t know where I would be.

Also, without Edge Lifestyle, YouCanBEAM supplements, Imperial magazine, Sarze Magazine and Clavin Klein, I’m not sure where I would be. All of these organizations have helped shape my career and have enabled me to reach more people and generate a new audience.
