Meet Cassandra Cooper | Esthetician & Flight Attendant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassandra Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cassandra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started my business, I was in Indianapolis at the time and CBD skin care was a brand new avenue. I wanted my love for cannabis to be reflected that it’s not a negative stigma that everyone knows. It actually heals and the results are incredible. Skin care is a luxury and the world wants us to indulge in that but a lot of people can’t afford it. I told myself that I wanted to have affordable services so everyone can experience that. Because of that, my clientele receives services like no other that they can still afford on a reasonable budget.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love being an esthetician! It’s what makes me happy and brings me comfort seeing the joy on others faces when I help them with their skin. In the midst of me being an esthetician, I also fell in love with being a flight attendant. Although my dual lifestyle is very unique from others in the industry, that alone sets me apart. I’m able to educate other flight attendants on why our skin is even more of a priority while being at different altitudes and climates. Having both careers is absolutely challenging when it comes to scheduling but my clients are so loyal and I make every effort to accommodate them. My first love is skin care at the end of the day and I continue to educate myself on new beauty trends and products so I can be the best of the best. I’ve learned to stick with my passion no matter how difficult it can be. To be great requires growth and sometimes a reset to make sure your values/goals really align with how you want to be successful. My recent rebrand truly had me take a step back and realize that I now need to tailor to a different audience to achieve my overall goal.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love this question! For food I’m definitely taking them to Locos Hermanos for my favorite breakfast burrito! Also for breakfast Luciles Creole Cafe is a hot spot for me as well! Lunch or dinner D’Corazon & Angelo’s are my favorites! If going out to the bars I really love being out in the Rino area in general, that never disappoints! I love taking people to the Botanic Gardens, Garden of the Gods, Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks, Rocky Mountain National Park & Iron Mountain Springs! That’s a week/weekend packed full of things to do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my father! He’s truly the definition of a support system. He’s been with me from the beginning and reminds me daily that whatever I put my mind to I can do! The encouragement and motivation pushes myself to be the best version of myself.
