We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassie Constanzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My business started from something a lot less glamorous than passion—it started with survival. I had just accepted a marketing role in Denver that promised a steady base salary and quarterly bonuses. On paper, it looked like a smart move. But reality hit hard.

I had maxed out my credit cards just to move back to Denver, and after that first quarter, it was clear I wasn’t going to be getting those quarterly bonuses. I was going deeper into debt with each passing week, and I was so broke that I began losing weight rapidly—because I was feeding my dogs instead of myself. That’s how tight things were.

That pressure pushed me to explore other income streams, and I leaned into something I’d always loved—photography. Before long, that “side hustle” wasn’t just covering my bills—it was outperforming my salary and bringing me genuine fulfillment.

Since that turning point, I’ve photographed countless luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and commercial brands across the hospitality and beverage industries. I’ve built a business that supports me, feeds me (literally and figuratively), and allows me to work with people and spaces that inspire me daily.

What started as a way to survive has grown into a career I genuinely love. I’m proud to say I now help others grow their businesses through strategic, high-quality imagery—and yes, my dogs and I both eat well now.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart? Well, aside from my ability to survive on free bar nuts and sheer willpower during the early days—I’d say it’s my mix of marketing strategy and visual storytelling, all wrapped up in a scrappy, resourceful mindset. I don’t just take pretty pictures—I help brands sell the feeling behind their space or experience.

I’m most proud of the fact that I built this business from a place of pure survival. I was broke—like, “feed my dogs and skip dinner” broke. I took a job in Denver thinking it would be the solution, but the paycheck didn’t cover much past rent. So I picked up my camera, started shooting hospitality spaces for extra cash, and accidentally found the thing I was actually meant to be doing.

Was it easy? Not even close. It was exhausting, humbling, and at times heart-breakingly hilarious—because nothing tests your hustle like photographing a 5 star hotel all day and hitting up McDonalds Value Menu with a $6 budget. But those early struggles gave me grit. I learned how to find opportunity in chaos and how to show up even when things felt impossible.

Since then, I’ve built a career I love—working with boutique hotels, high-end restaurants, and commercial brands to create intentional, conversion-driven imagery. My work doesn’t just look good—it works hard.

What do I want people to know about me and my brand? I’m proof that your lowest moments can become the launchpad for something better than you imagined. My brand is about clarity, intention, and creating visuals that help businesses actually grow. And I always bring a little edge, a little humor, and a whole lot of heart to the process.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe so much to the people who showed up when things were at their worst.

To my family—thank you for your unwavering support when I had nothing but a dream and a lot of debt.
To my friends—thank you for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.
And to those who doubted me—thank you, too. The pain you caused lit a match and sparked a fire in me. I found strength in proving you wrong.

Every cheer, every challenge, and every moment of quiet encouragement helped build the life I wouldn’t trade for anything.
