Meet Cayla Rotello | Owner/operator and stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cayla Rotello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cayla, what makes you happy? Why?
Giving back to others makes me happy, and being a mom. It’s part of why I decided to go into the industry that I’m in. To know I’m apart of someone’s special day is really meaningful and I’m so grateful I get to do it!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been a hairstylist for 14 years now. I always knew I loved hair and makeup growing up but didn’t pursue my career until I tried out college and knew it wasn’t for me. I’m very hands on and creative and couldn’t wait to jump in and start working. It also made me feel like I was giving back to others. That’s something I’ve always been passionate about. The journey wasn’t easy and I had to put in a lot of long days, nights, and weekends to get to where I am now. Some days I wanted to quit, and I would question my talents but at the end of the day I always knew this is what I was supposed to do. Early on in my career I was assisting on a wedding and I loved it! Being apart of this persons special day was so cool to me. They trusted me to be apart of this and assist doing hair and makeup. From that day forward weddings were the industry I wanted to get into.
I want people to know that my main goal is to give back to others. I enjoy making woman and men feel their best on their special day, or any day for that matter.
I Do Beauty Boutique isn’t just about wedding hair and makeup. We are a team of passionate professionals that love what we do! We are honored that people put their trust in us on their most important day.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a Colorado native and grew up in the mountains, around Georgetown and Idaho Springs. I would say if the weather is nice to go check out those mountain towns. They are really cute with lots of fun shops and they have their own character and charm about them. I do cook a lot at home but if you are wanting to have lots of options and good food the Highlands area has so many great places. Sushi Sasa is my favorite sushi spots.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
None of this would have been possible without the support of my family and my mentor. They stood behind me every step of the way and I am forever thankful for it. They have given me the confidence and strength to keep going. Now being a mother of a little girl, it gives me even more of a push to keep going. She looks up to me and I want to be the best role model I can be for her.
