We had the good fortune of connecting with Cecile Blair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cecile, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Persistence has helped me succeed. Starting businesses from scratch can be tremendously hard. Especially if the business is new to you. Challenges make you stronger as a company and person, overcoming the obstacles helps your life in the future. Its overused, but “fall, get back up”. The next day will be better with an optimistic attitude.Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We have the most amazing certified Doulas and Newborn Care Specialist on our Night Owl team. Our team makes our company thrive. When your contractors do a great job, it carries the company. Night Owl helps parents sleep. It is rewarding. Sleep is so important for parents, and thats what we are great at achieving. Hoota Booie helps save abused animals. We love animals and making a difference in their lives is something we hold dear to our hearts. All hats and apparel are sustainably sourced. Helping our environment, community and most importantly all animals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My Dad owns an amazing mountain that over looks all of the city and the continental divide. ATV rides to the top is always our go to spot for peace, and sunsets. Float trips down the river in Palisade, drinking wine and eating all the delicious food the town has to offer. Trail running Flying Jay Ranch Park. Bike riding to downtown Golden for Beer tasting at all the local Breweries. Colorado has so many fun outdoor activities. The list is endless.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Hubby is absolutely amazing. He has a BBA that comes in very handy for both businesses. He is very helpful, real and encouraging. He gives me big hugs, wine, and reminds me everything is going to be ok. Two favorite books that I read a couple times a year: Lessons of The Lotus, by Bhante Y. Wimala The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne
