We had the good fortune of connecting with Celena (Lady Los) Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Celena (Lady Los), is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Lady Los Productions (LLPLLC) is a sustainable clothing brand, record label, and digital gallery. LLPLLC creates new clothing with recycled or up-cycled materials that would otherwise contribute to pollution/end up in a landfill. LLPLLC is owned and operated by artist Lady Los. Lady Los writes and records original music contributing medicinal, positive, musical vibrations to the world.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
LLPLLC is a new clothing brand that takes pride in creating timeless pieces from materials that would otherwise be treated like garbage and thrown into a landfill. The fast fashion industry accounts for 10% of all carbon emissions in the world and is second to the oil industry in regards to polluting the environment. LLPLLC works to combat this reality by up-cycling new clothing lines and making pieces to order. Meaning if an item is not made entirely of up-cycled material, it is 1 of 1 and created custom to order. The goal is zero waste. LLPLLC is woman-owned, Latina-owned, Black-owned, and Denver-born. LLPLLC is also a record label currently releasing the works of the artist Lady Los. The first single from Lady Los titled Honey Do was released on 3/1/22 on all streaming platforms.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout-out is dedicated to my loved ones. I would not be where I am today without your love and support. My loved ones taught me music and sang with me before I knew my voice. I dedicate this to Judy, who taught me to sew. I dedicate this to athletic coaches because my time as a basketball athlete shaped my life for the better. I’d like to acknowledge Jarell Wall, my brother, and comrade. Last but not least, to my husband who has shown me what unconditional love is.
