We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Archuleta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I feel like the most important factor behind my success is that I have experienced hardship in my life and I’ve had to overcome many obstacles to get to where I am today and that it helps me see things from a different perspective, a perspective of someone who has gone through extreme circumstances and has overcome and gotten stronger because of them.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is Personal Training, I travel to my client’s home. I bring my own equipment and schedule at their convenience. This includes Krav Maga, Strength & Fitness (as it applies to the goal), Fitness Nutrition, Fight Skill Training..

The driving force behind my own training is my past, it was pretty much 31 years of violence in one form or another. It also gave me the experience to understand how it effects the way we carry ourselves both alone and with others. Although my training has been the hardest I’ve ever pushed myself, it has also been the most transformative part of my life and it fulfills my soul when I see how training with my clients transforms them as well.
I’ve learned that although everyone is unique, we all have the desire to live a long, healthy life that we can enjoy.

I’d like the world to know that there are strong women out there who have fought some of the most severest battles to be where they are today. I know this because I have as well.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Monday: tour, shop, and have lunch at Luna’s in downtown Greeley

Tuesday: visit downtown Loveland, go to the museum, have lunch at the Station, their burgers are amazing

Wednesday: check out the national parks and go hiking by the Devil’s Backbone

Thursday: visit Ft Collins, go hiking at horsetooth /have lunch at Suehiro’s in downtown FOCO

Friday: catch a movie at the Cinemark in Greeley

Saturday: visit Estes Park/have lunch at Nepal

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my friends who believed in me throughout all of my struggles, these people include Andrea Emmerling, who has played a big part perusing my business goals and Annette Comstock, who has pushed me to take risks that I thought were impossible because she believed in me and knew that I’d succeed
