Meet Christy Lanaux | Founder and CEO of Coast to Coast Surrogacy

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christy Lanaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was in an industry that I loved but felt I could do things differently and knew I needed to be on my own to make real changes.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is in the third party reproduction industry. I own a surrogacy agency that finds and screens women interested in being a surrogate to those in need. We have clients from all backgrounds… Single women, single men, married traditional and same sex couples, as well as couples that are not married. We are a national and international agency that serves intended parents all over the world. We go above and beyond in our screening of surrogate candidates as well as the intended parents we represent, we screen so heavily to ensure a safe, healthy, and successful journey for everyone involved.
We make sure that everyone feels supported by hosting a support group for our surrogates with licensed social workers in the group and on call 24 hours a day.
We stand apart from other agencies, not only in our surrogate support, but for our intended parent clients as well. We offer additional services to be physically present at all deliveries so that all of the attention can be on the new baby and not the legal paperwork or uncomfortable circumstances that may arise.

I want the world to know that we operate from a place of caring and grace. We want everyone to feel like we are an extension of their family and that we are honored to be a part of every journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The best Brazilian steakhouse I have ever been to was outside of Denver called Fogo de Chao, that’s a great dinner place.

I love going to Breckenridge, Vail, or Aspen for the holidays the lights and cozy feelings are amazing and there’s always lots of family fun to be found.

I love the mountains no matter the season. It’s such a beautiful sight even just driving down the street.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family is my biggest supporters. My husband and 2 daughters have sacrificed time with me on countless occasions so that I can work the numerous hours that I do and also so that I can travel as much as I do to support our clients and grow the business. I think the Army has a role in my success because it is only because my husband was in the Army that we were able to live all over the USA which led me to meeting the right people.
