Meet CJ Campbell | Graphics design and wrap installer

We had the good fortune of connecting with CJ Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CJ, why did you pursue a creative career?
I wanted to pursue a creative and artistic career because I like to design and just go crazy with creativity. I like to be able to customize and design the cars and I like to help people make their idea come true. I want to show other car girls that they can build their car in a male dominated field.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Race Your Fears isn’t just a car crew in the springs. It’s a statement to all the gear heads. I made my car as an example I want to inspire people to do what they want. Go crazy go clean. Simple build or colorful. I want to mainly inspire other women in the car scene. Being a women in a male dominated hobby can be extremely hard due to the ridicule women get. I just want to help women and men build their dream.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say garden if the gods, Helen hunt falls. Garden of the gods is best for photos and when the sun rises and sets it’s super beautiful and you can see the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Mainly my mom and my dad. My dad is what got me into the car scene and with me building a show car it just inspires me to do my best for him. My mom is the #1 supporter I have in my life. She has always pushed me and never told me not to go for it. Next would be my boyfriend and my car family. They inspired and pushed me to create Race Your Fears.
