We had the good fortune of connecting with Corissa Peterich and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Corissa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The fact that all our juices are juiced to order, and 100% organic. It’s very hard to find a juice bar nowadays where you actually see the fresh fruits and vegetables that are used to create your juice. If you want that massive rush of nutrients it’s really important to consume the juice immediately after it’s juiced.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart from others is our dedication to creating a healthier world, and we are very proud of how carefully and consciously we source every ingredient and item we carry, weighing and measuring the effects it has on our planet and our community. As far as how I got to where I currently am in business, I directly attribute that to being the kind of person who has always fully immersed myself into whatever most interested me. Nutritional healing has always been a big part of what I am naturally drawn to as well as creating a pipeline of abundance that flows directly to our small local farms. I want to be part of creating what our world needs most, and this business is a reflection of that. None of this journey has been easy, and I accredit sheer determination and perseverance to overcoming the challenges that have presented themselves along the way, my biggest lesson is that the universe really does favor the bold! I would like the world to know that a plant-based world is a healthier world and that even the smallest choices we make matter.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would first take them for an Ampersand coffee and smoothie bowl at The Juice Bee, then after for a hike to the top of Mt. Sanitas to admire the beautiful view of all of Boulder and Denver. After we would hit happy hour for a bite to eat at Leaf restaurant (a vegetarian favorite). The next day I would take them to the top of Pikes Peak for doughnuts and a view from a 14k foot mountain, and on the way down we would stop in Colorado Springs at the Burrowing Owl an amazing vegan food restaurant and head through garden of the gods for a drive during sunset. Day 3 we would go to Strawberry Park hot springs for a dip in mother natures hot tubs, and hit the Town of Steamboat for dinner in the historic main drag. Day 4 we would drive up to Estes Park to check out the famous Stanley hotel, and tour Rocky Mountain National Park. Day 5 We would have a relaxing morning and then we would drive up to the adorable town of Nederlands to shop in their gem shops and enjoy the small town vibe in Colorado, and head over to Black Hawk for dinner and casinos. Day 6 would be touring the city of Denver and all it has to offer. Possibly a trip to Meow Wolf a trippy museam experience, then dining and shopping at the 16th street mall, and viewing the stunning way the city lights up the capital building at night. Then on Day 7 we circle back and go shopping on Pearl Street in Boulder for outdoor apparel, and gifts then dinner on the rooftop patio at Rosetta Hall where there is beautiful ambiance and something delicious for everyone’s appetite!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The 7 spiritual laws of Success by Deepak Chopra, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, and GRIT “The power of passion and perseverance” by Angela Duckworth are books that have been pivotal in my quest to create this vision.
My friends and family have given me an immense amount of support and encouragement during every phase of the journey, and I am grateful beyond words for each and every one of them!
