We had the good fortune of connecting with Dawn Fable and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dawn, what is the most important factor behind your success?
This really goes back to Press Pause helping people. It is so humbling and truly makes my heart sing when I hear testimonials on how our products have helped change lives. That is my definition of success and we are so grateful to have that opportunity.
What should our readers know about your business?
Funny, I’ve never considered Press Pause Project as a business. In fact, it is truly an accidental passion project that genuniely evolved from my heart and personal experiences with anxiety. For the past 30 years, like so many women, the biggest challenge in my life was that my anxiety started to consume my life.. After I had my 3rd child, my anxiety was spiraling out of control and I was disenchanted with the options that were available tome . Fortunately, I discovered CBD and it had life changing benefits for my anxiety. I knew there were thousands of other women that could benefit and the Press Pause Project was born. I like to consider our brand as so much more than just a natural CBD line for women, our vision and purpose is to educate women around the healing benefits of CBD and stop the whispering and stigma around anxiety. Thiere of been many challenges that have been presented in this journey and I’m grateful for the lessons that have followed. Perhaps the biggest one is keep doing the right thing, creating quality product and stay true to our mission of helping others. If you do that, the rest will fall into place.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh my goodness- what I would do for a visit from my Best Friend after these crazy times we’ve all been living in. LIfe has a way of moving so fast and it’s so rare to have an uninterrupted and authentic conversations. I think I would go grab an incredible bottle of wine and sit for hours in my back yard just catching up. If we were to hit the town, I’d love to take her to lunch on the patio at Vert, grab a glass of wine or appetiser at Postino and belly up to the Sushi Bar at Cherry Hills Sushi. Maybe a hike, paddle board or some of the amazing things Colorado outdoors has to offer.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All of the women and Mom’s out there trying to balance it all and doing it so very gracefully.
