We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina Amigoni and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cristina, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of our brand is the humans-first focus. We provide solutions that are often “templatized” or provided similarly regardless of the client and situation. We truly focus on understanding the specific and unique human experience at hand before providing a solution. We have frameworks and a “toolbox” to help us along the way, however we have been standing out because of our efforts to make everything highly customized and about the people first and foremost.
Additionally, our success is due to regularly asking for feedback on our work and for having the difficult conversations right away. Rather than protecting the “revenue”, we live into our values, focus on the success of our clients, and always support our team. If our work and approach are not the right fit, we would rather know that along the way, than do something we don’t believe to be the successful in the long-term. As Brenè Brown says: ” We aim to get it right, rather than be right”.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our company, Siamo, focuses on optimizing people experience, engagement, and collaboration in organizations through the creation of cultures of WE. We are focused on the humans behind work.
The journey was not easy, there was a lot of work dedicated to understanding our why and just cause. We spent quite a bit of time defining who we are and what we want to do and then believing that we could provide value even if our approach and solutions were not the “norm” or comfortable way to do things. We support each other and give ourselves space and time to get it right, rather than doing what is easy and brings the money in.
We are firm believers that the WHO is vastly more important than the WHAT and HOW. What counts is working and partnering with the people who align in values and have the same just cause, because the WHAT is constantly changing and the HOW can be figured out.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Red Rocks and Garden of the Rocks. I would visit Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park and visit towns like Breckenridge.
I would attend a concert either at Red Rocks or the DCPA and have drinks in LoHI and Cherry Creek.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
