We had the good fortune of connecting with Dana Lerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dana, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Indigenous traditions are being erased by people working with psychedelic medicines and completely bypassing the medicine keepers and the traditions by which working with these medicines came about. Obviously this is pertaining to plant medicines and not ketamine.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I cofounded skylight psychedelics and we prescribe sublingual ketamine only to be used by clients while they are in their therapists office. Most practices send Ketamine for clients to use alone and unsupported which is negligent in my opinion. Skylight Psychedelics is a spiritual medical practice. Our providers have personal experience with the medicines we work with. We are much less “clinical” and sterile than other practices. We focus on connecting clients with their inner healing intelligence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Plant Magic Cafe.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mentor Dr Susan Frederick, my medicine brother Carlos Jorge, my Abuelo Don Floro.
