Meet Dani Loo | Dentist and Medspa Owner at the Sanctuary Aesthetic

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Loo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The reason why I wanted to open The Sanctuary Aesthetic, as a dentist, is to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Many individuals struggle with skin concerns, signs of aging, or self-esteem issues, and I wanted to create a space where they can receive expert care in a relaxing, supportive environment. Unlike a traditional clinic, my medspa blends medical-grade treatments with a spa-like atmosphere, promoting both physical and emotional well-being. By offering safe, effective, and science-backed treatments, you’re not just enhancing appearances—you’re helping people feel their best from the inside out.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Sanctuary Aesthetic is my start up that focuses on delivering safe, effective, and science backed treatments for the community. My last 6 years as a dentist, I love to incorporate facial aesthetics into my modality of treatment options I offer to patients. The growth in the aesthetics field is growing fast, and I’m excited about the advancements in technology and science. The best practitioners are the ones that stay up to date on changes.

I started this practice so that I can get a real engagement on building my skillset and my brand as a facial aesthetic provider and dentist. A lot of materials we’re handling in dentistry is utilized in the aesthetics field such as PRP/PRF, Exosomes, and botox. If you think about it, dentists handle teeth, muscles, facial anatomy, and anything head and neck. So, Dentists are pretty well versed when it comes to facial structure, balance, and function. I’m always seeking to improve my treatment outcomes for my patients. This is definitely a new challenge, starting a new company, but I’ve been enjoying the process and meeting a lot of people along the way.

Through enhancing wellness and confidence in people in the community. I want people to feel better about themselves and address their skin concerns which can help boost their self- esteem and mental health. Growing my practice, I’ll be able to provide more medical grade treatments locally for the community so they do not need to travel far and I can provide alternatives to invasive cosmetic procedures.

Overall, I want people to know I am here to listen to their concerns. I hope to be their support system to treat their areas of concern in a safe and non surgical manner. Dentistry and Aesthetics can be a very scary realm to anyone, and Im here to help guide you through it all. I want my patients to be confident and happy- hoping to improve their self esteem along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I were to pick a place to take a friend in town for a trip in Denver- I would take them to get breakfast burritos at Egg Belly.

Then we would go on a day trip around for coffee/matcha from Grounds for dismissal coffee and walk around to visit the different plant shops around town, and maybe ride some bikes around city park. Possibly go to the Denver Zoo and visit the baby Giraffe that was just born (if they’re opening the exhibit)

For dinner, we would probably grab some fancy bites and drinks at Temaki Den for their happy hour, and then head up to red rocks for a nice evening concert.
