We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Orth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniel, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Prior to Massage School I had spent several months learning Shamanic Arts. During a Vision Journey (aka waking dream) in which I was instructed to come up with a “journey weapon” for an upcoming ceremony, I decided to go another route and instead created a Spiritual Tool. I devised this Tool imbued with the Power to Accomplish anything I could Imagine, which is Always and Only Altruistic. I used the Tool in the ceremony to create a Sacred Space in which all Beings and Energies in said space either are Altruistic, Willing to be and/or Transform to the Benefit of All. This Tool worked so Powerfully and Magically that I use it every time I do massage to assist individuals in moving to their most Beneficial Expressions. It also allows me to keep from putting up walls, thus feeling what is needed for the client without taking on their energies, since Sacred Space Transforms all energy to that of the Utmost Benefit. It helps us mutually and allows me to deepen my ability to Serve this World. While in Massage School in 2010 I came up with the idea to use the Sacred Space Method and I immediately bought the trade name Sacred Space Therapeutic Massage. I’ve been practicing with this intent ever since. I am Blessed to Serve by creating a Sacred Space in which clients explore their Authenticity, Experience themselves and Flow into their Healing. My Wonderful Clients speak to the Amazing results they Enjoy and for that I’m incredibly Grateful!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My favorite thing about what I do is helping people Enjoy Being Themselves. The enjoyment can come from feeling increased Freedom in their Bodies, Experiencing their Feelings with Acceptance and Self Love, Letting their thoughts Subside, being Nurtured through Touch, Being Heard and Seen, allowing themselves to Expand, experiencing Unconditional Love and a Myriad of other ways that present in the Sacred Space Container. To get to this point I’ve had to confront my own healing journey and die a thousand deaths of the ego, of the false self and have enough courage to be born anew, each time a bit more my True Nature. With that, and vitally, I have changed from wanting a ton of clients to wanting only the clients that are a great fit. That has brought me great success and fulfillment. The journey has been difficult mostly until lately. The shift of being myself and honoring my truest gifts has made it easy and enjoyable. Now that I have been using the Sacred Space Tool I created for over 12 years, I’m finally ready to share it with those who I resonate with and could use the support. I will be announcing the Sacred Space Arts Workshop within a week for those who wish to create their own unique Sacred Space Tools which will always be with them. It is the most powerful way I’ve found as of yet to create and maintain an intentional space in which to be Anytime and Anywhere! Best of All, it will be your Unique and Powerful Tool, not mine! I’ll help with components and ideas and You will choose what You use. In the meantime, you’re Welcomed to Experience Sacred Space with a therapeutic massage session with me 🙂
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with taking them to Thrive, a conscious, intentional and caring restaurant with many healthy foods, elixirs, smoothies, drinks, desserts and more ( also many tarot decks to explore yourself with). If it lined up during a ceremony or group activity, I would take them to the Star House up in the hills for an otherworldly and transcendental experience to bring in the magic. I would definitely take them up into the hills or mountains for one of my famous wilderness adventures in which we either go by trail or off trail wherever spirit takes us ( I like the Indian Peaks Wilderness or RMNP). If it’s summer, I’d insist on a dip in the Eldorado Springs swimming pool after a hike at the State Park there. I would certainly advise that they come during one of Debbie’s amazing breathwork groups to experience and express through anything that wants to bubble up for them (path2transcendence@gmail.com). I would recommend a trip up flagstaff, a popular perch above Boulder where people go to find a nice hiking or hanging spot with great views. I would say let’s go to Dushanbe Teahouse, a restaurant that was put together piece by piece by with material from Tajikistan, great food and Tea. Rosetta Hall and Rayback Collective are both fun and unique places to mingle, enjoy food, music and events. If we are looking for a little more of hippy and alternative vibe, Vali Soul Sanctuary is a wonderful place to go to express, flow, create, relate and just BE. Also Swim in Boulder Creek!
