We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Vose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my business was deeply rooted in a desire to expand my impact beyond the confines of my private practice. As a therapist, I was profoundly aware of the ripple effect my work could have. Each week, I would engage with about 20 therapists, aiding them in navigating their personal and professional challenges. Through this work, I wasn’t just touching their lives; I was indirectly influencing the lives of their family members and their own clients. It was gratifying to know that my insights and interventions could potentially impact a couple of hundred lives.

However, this impact felt like merely a drop in the bucket considering the vast scale of mental health challenges and the global need for healing. This realization sparked my decision to venture into the digital sphere—an area where I admittedly had no experience. I was stepping into relatively unknown territory with social media, driven by a vision to extend my reach and deepen my impact.

By building an online presence, I’ve been able to engage with thousands of individuals worldwide. This transition has allowed me to share my knowledge and methods on a much larger scale, facilitating healing and growth far beyond the therapy room. Despite the progress and the increased number of lives touched, the drive to reach even more people continues to fuel my ambition. It’s a powerful motivator that pushes me to innovate, explore new platforms, and refine my approach to ensure that the essence of my work translates across different mediums and reaches every corner of the globe where it’s needed.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I specialize in psychoemotional regeneration using somatic and attachment understandings, making top-tier somatic psychology content accessible to those seeking deeper healing. My journey in this field began with my own recovery from hardcore drug addiction. The negative experiences I had as a patient in treatment centers, where I often felt monetized rather than genuinely cared for, fueled my passion to do better.

What sets my business apart is the comprehensive nature of my offerings. I’ve written a book on psychoemotional regeneration, helped teach trainings for Diane Heller’s Somatic Attachment trainings—a globally recognized expert—and led continuing education groups for specialty therapists at Sierra Tucson. One of my proudest achievements is the Trauma Alchemy program. This comprehensive system incorporates developmental repatterning on multiple levels, including emotional, physical exercises, and leveraging developmental rhythms. No other somatic program is as complete and nuanced as this one, making it an invaluable resource for both individuals and aspiring therapists.

A pivotal moment in my professional journey was working with First Nations people, training healthcare workers on a reservation to use somatic and attachment methods for trauma. This experience not only honed my skills but also deepened my understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and the profound impact of these methods.

My path wasn’t easy. Balancing work at a treatment center while building a private practice was like having two full-time jobs. Then, transitioning to online programs was akin to juggling five jobs at once—filming, editing, creating content, marketing, and advertising all on my own. This taught me the importance of perseverance, self-reliance, and the power of a clear vision. For any entrepreneur, it’s crucial to take full responsibility for your business and ensure that what you envision comes to fruition.

I’m deeply honored to serve a growing community on Instagram. Working through projections and trolls has been challenging, but the opportunity to impact thousands of lives feels like an absolute blessing. My goal is to help create a more loving and embodied culture, a world where I’d feel proud to bring children into.

Looking to the future, my vision includes developing a certification program to elevate the standards of somatic coaching. There are many out there who claim to facilitate somatic work without adequate training. I aim to ensure that those who undertake this work are thoroughly prepared to offer meaningful and lasting support.

Driven by a deep spiritual orientation and gratitude, I strive to see every person I encounter as family. This perspective not only enriches my practice but also fosters a sense of community and interconnectedness that I hope to spread through my work.

To anyone reading this, I encourage you to find that one healthy habit to cling to in tough times and to become a self-validating machine. Believe in yourself, and let your inner strength guide you to resilience and transformation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting the area, I’d take them on an adventure through Boulder’s best spots and some hidden gems in the nearby mountain towns. We’d hike the scenic Annie White Trail and venture up to Estes Park for some breathtaking views. Along the way, we’d explore the charming small towns, discovering local treasures and enjoying the tranquility of nature. These trails and hidden gems showcase the true beauty of Colorado and offer an unforgettable experience.
