Meet David Threlfall | Founder of Trill Pills

We had the good fortune of connecting with David Threlfall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When my mother developed lung cancer, I started to research cancer alternatives. I found that THC can create apoptosis (natural cell death), but she wouldn’t try it. Unfortunately, she passed away, but I kept up on the research and decided to get into the cannabis business to help people understand the therapeutic properties of THC. During that time, I came across CBD and the vast number of ailments CBD can help with on its own. Not only on its own, but also when paired with other Cannabinoids like THC, CBG, and CBGA, to name a few. In my 12 plus years in the cannabis industry, we helped thousands of people with all types of health issues, but I could not find a high quality, clean option for CBD, so we decided to produce our own and sell it in our dispensary. We use a lipid based extraction method that removes all contaminants that the plant could potentially have, making it the cleanest CBD on the market today, with no additives or solvents ever used. Once recreational marijuana was approved, I saw the shift in the medical side of cannabis and over the next 5 years or so, the Farm Bill passed. That is when I decided to sell all of my marijuana businesses and focus on Trill Pills CBD. What should our readers know about your business?
We are all about open and honest communication. In the CBD industry, you have a lot of companies making false claims about what the products can do. We always start off by stating that we are not sure whether CBD can help your particular ailment, but if there are studies that show it can, we always provide that. For example, CBD shows great promise for sleep or anxiety. Or CBG has been shown to help with glaucoma like THC can, but CBG doesn’t get you high. The one great thing about our all natural products is you have nothing to lose by trying them. The side effects are nothing compared to other drugs, and 90% of the time customers get some type of relief.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like taking a hike along the foothills and enjoying the view of the flatirons. Then, I like to have lunch somewhere downtown on the Pearl Street Mall. I also enjoy being home relaxing and then a night on the town listening to music at one of Colorado’s great outdoor venues!

If I am going to give a shout out, it would have to be to all of our customers who have tracked their progress and given us feedback on how Trill Pills products have helped them. By working together with our customers, we can fine tune a regimen that works best for them and also help everyone understand what products work best for specific ailments they are dealing with.
