We had the good fortune of connecting with Drix cFx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Drix, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
On that I don’t know which is the right answer, because creativity defines me and music understands me, but when all of them combined together here I stand. In my life I’ve been spending a lot of time alone. And there is where music founds me. But after few years I decided why not create my own music so that I could tell the world my thoughts and feelings.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Am a music artist & Producer goes by stage name “Drix cFx”, but first I started as a music producer so I can make my own instrumentals. I based on HipHop but with new modern sound and my own flavor. Because I listen everything that has human emotion. Here in my country most of artist do music by following the legacy mean that they been obsessed with dancing genre from the most recognized Artist that represent our country very well inside and outside our continent @DiamondPlatnumz. And I wanna change that to show them that there is another way to establish your own sound and you can still make it. Though, it really needs a big heart and patience, Because it a Marathon not a sprint. You will need a lot of time to master want you being building for years. The one of the biggest things that am proud my self of is I’VE NEVER GIVE UP on anything so easily even it’s feels like there is no sign of light at all. And all I know is there will be result of it one day. So in order to win be bold and the inspiration of yourself. I’ve been struggling for years to make my music standout outside my country and am really into it, but the huge challenge I’ve been facing is here in my country hip-hop doesn’t have a good fanbase and also English is not working that much. And lack of funding to make the brand standout because I needed to establish a record label that will help to enhance hip-hop revolution.
And soon am going to launch my studio album before the end of year 2022 will go by the name ANTISOCIAL LIF3

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Am kinda of super chill dude, Now days I heard we are described as lowkey people. Here in my city Arusha professionally it known as RChuga or Atown I realy like to chill at Tejo with my BFF Drumma BoY. But mostly when I hangout with some of two or three crazy friends ,Yoo I tell you studio is where I spend most of my weekends. My dream city is ATLANTA GEORGIA, Because I feel like it have all the things I need.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Always I like to say “GOD OVER EVERTHING” then the other things fall next. My mother always stands on my side and been giving big support on my career, and am praying for her that she would see what I will become and “One Day YES” that was phrase from my brother @DaVson The MasterMind that we’ been learning production together since day one till now.
