We had the good fortune of connecting with Dylan And Stephanie Caudle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dylan and Stephanie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We’ve always been entrepreneurs and have loved the freedom we’ve had to make our own decisions and the flexibility it has given us in our everyday schedules. We never pictured ourselves owning an inflatable hamster ball company until we helped our daughter’s school with their after-prom party. The school contracted out an inflatable company for a few Zorb balls and a track. The company contacted us right before the start of the event and tried to cancel the rental agreement due to overbooking. We convinced the company to at least leave a few Zorb balls. That night we witnessed how much fun the kids were having and saw the potential of what a well-managed rental and entertainment business could have on our community. We communicated with other companies in the industry and soon saw the need for a reliable well-managed Zorb ball company. We quickly evolved from a rental company to an event company because the market was lacking fun family experiences that are affordable for families. We have now done several large events and it is our goal to create a fun memorable experience that runs smoothly. Starting Zorbo stemmed from a desire to bring joy and families together while focusing on affordable fun for kids. This allowed parents who were looking for quality entertainment for their children without breaking the bank. We were excited to start something from scratch and were dedicated to exploring new ideas and methods that would enhance the entertainment industry.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Zorbo is an event company known for providing exceptional customer service and unique experiences. We typically offer services for team-building activities, birthday parties, and corporate events. Zorbo stands out from other companies by offering public events that feature 14 balls and a dedicated track for one-hour increments, all at an affordable price. This unique setup allows participants to enjoy a fun and active experience. Our focus on affordability and community engagement sets us apart in the event industry.

We are very proud of how we have grown our business. We have been able to participate in school carnivals, recreation center camps, church camps and have hosted team bonding and birthday parties. Watching the kid’s faces light up while they are in the Zorb balls is priceless.

A lot of long hours, hard work, and dedication has contributed to where Zorbo is today. We still have a lot of dreams and goals for Zorbo and plan to reach more communities and enhance the overall experience. We are committed to creating unforgettable moments for families.

We’ve learned there is no rule book or script to show us how to get to our end goal. We are constantly having to pivot quickly in response to new challenges. We have learned we must be flexible.

We want the world to know Zorbo is a small local business trying to offer something different to our community in a fun, new exciting way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we had a friend visiting Colorado, we would schedule it during the winter. We would drive up to Keystone and rent a ski-in / ski-out condo. We would ski the slopes, shop at some of the charming shops, and enjoy the local food. We would take advantage of the experience of night skiing. We would enjoy the late evenings by the fireplace. In the morning we would go ice skating and enjoy a good homemade crepe. We would also make sure to drive over to Copper Mountain and enjoy the inner tubing down the hillside. Lastly, we will drive over to Breckenridge and enjoy the ice sculptures. The Colorado Mountains are breathtaking and we believe everyone should experience them.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to give a shoutout to Shawnalea our sister/sister-in-law. She has been by our side from day one and has been a crucial part of launching our business ideas. Shawnalea has been our social media content creator. Her insights and creativity have been invaluable. Shawnalea has been our number-one supporter since the day we introduced the idea of Zorbo. We couldn’t thank her and her family enough for their support. We are so grateful for everything she has done to help us get our business off the ground.
