Meet Emelie S Griffith | Realtor® & Animal Welfare Advocate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emelie S Griffith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emelie, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I’m fortunate to be in a position where I can reach many people and utilize my job as a Realtor to make an impact in my community. I absolutely love animals and donate a portion of each closing to non-profits in the animal realm. This past year I joined as a Board Member for Greenwood Wildlife (https://greenwoodwildlife.org), and some of my clients generously donate to the cause now. It’s incredibly gratifying.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With a background in marketing and also in the creative field, the two work incredibly well for real estate. I take what I did branding large-scale communities and now do it personally for clients. I see each home and each experience as its own brand, and finding ways for people to emotionally connect to the space is my special talent. This goes beyond the walls and into the day-to-day experience. Topped off with how detail-oriented and analytical I am, and it’s a combo that I’m honored to provide my clients with.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Mt Sanitas is my special place. It’s best at sunrise, with a dog, and a cup of coffee as the sun paints an orange glow on the hillside. There are deer and the occasional bear, and sometimes I can catch a few minutes where I feel that it’s all mine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We adopted our little rescue pup, Monkey, a street dog with not-so-few issues. The experience set my daughters and I on the path toward a deeper understanding of the rescue world and then what goes into caring for injured wildlife. Ultimately, there are so many people (and resources) involved that deserve to be recognized for improving the life of animals and truly, human lives as well!
