Meet Emmanuel Zorro | Dance Artiste

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emmanuel Zorro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emmanuel, why did you pursue a creative career?
Well I know my mission,my purpose and my destiny will be tied to one thing which is my gift and so therefore,I decided to chase my creative career because it’s what I’m good in and I’m not going to let that slide.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well as you know I’m a dance artiste and I do various dances like Afro fusion,hip hop,African contemporary,traditional dances and then I do KRUMP. I’m proud to say learning these dances have made me different from my peers because I’m versatile which gives me more room for opportunities. Though,it wasn’t easy it took me time and dedication but I’m glad I’m here today. I’ve learned that Hardwork will take you far but HUMILITY will take you farther. I want the world to watch out for BOYMAIM ✊🏾

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First of all,I’ll take them to where I work which is the studio for them to have a great experience. And then we might go to the beach and maybe karaoke you know. And maybe if there should be concerts that I’ll be performing also,I’ll bring them along for them to see me on stage.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
