We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Schrader and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Growing up in a small farm town in southwest Nebraska, I was always outside digging in the mud, building various things with Legos or Lincoln Logs, and drawing and coloring, to name a few pastimes. As I got older, my parents had an MS-DOS computer, where I spent countless hours in the Print Shop software application designing posters, banners, and greeting cards. By the time I was in grade school, my parents upgraded the computer to a Windows 95 machine. By having this computer, my eyes were opened to a whole new world! I began using Microsoft Paint, Microsoft Works, and, of course, the newest version of the Paint Shop Pro Deluxe 6.0. Soon after, my parents brought an even more life-changing piece of technology into the house. You got it, it was dial-up internet. In between the dial-up tones, Limewire, Ask Jeeves, and Yahoo, I began to see what the possibilities were for creativity. As the years went on, Windows XP came into my life and that’s when my passion for web design started to take shape. I begged my mom to buy me a copy of Microsoft FrontPage so I could learn to design websites and code, and satisfy my curiosity. The curiosity didn’t stop there and it was full steam ahead. Soon after, I purchased my first domain name and had my own corner of the World Wide Web. By the time I got into High School, I was one of the main students who maintained our school district’s website. I was also part of the yearbook class, which brought new learning experiences into my life, such as publication design and new software applications. During my free time at home, I would lose track of time as I was engrossed in the internet and learning to code. By this time, it was around 2004 when I realized design and technology were my calling. During my high school business class, Sites By E Web Design came to life. I worked with several local businesses, such as the Benkelman Area Chamber of Commerce, to launch the town’s very first website. I was always happiest most when I was coding, learning a new software application, the physical computer hardware components, and how the internet operates in general. By the time college came around, I knew my happy place would be anywhere I could design and develop by own creations. To this day, it doesn’t faze me to be in a full-time IT job and come home after work and pick up where I left off on a client’s latest project, learning artificial intelligence (AI), vibe coding, and partaking in various design and tech support groups, learning from others. To this day, time still cruises on by when I am deep in design or code. I couldn’t imagine any other happy place and growing my tech business!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
During 2020, Eric felt a shift coming in the industry. Businesses didn’t just need beautiful websites—they needed a partner who understood cybersecurity, cloud systems, disaster recovery and backups, workflow automation, and long-term IT strategy. He expanded ELIME into a next-generation hybrid agency, combining his creative talents and passion for technology. With his new focus and drive to provide design and technology under the same umbrella, a rebrand became official in September 2025 with the launch of ELIME Technology LLC.

With a new focus and a bigger vision, Eric adopted a powerful guiding principle:
“Design That Pops! Tech That Performs. Support You Can Count On.”

Today, Eric provides a full suite of forward-thinking, customer-centered services—remote IT support, cybersecurity, disaster recovery solutions, SaaS and M365 administration, Google Workspace support, software procurement, WordPress development, and ongoing creative design. While there has been growing pains, Eric marches forward with his head held high and a stronger passion and curiosity for all things technology. Not to mention all the self growth that has happened along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Even though I have been in the Denver metro for over 12 years, I am still a newbie and semi-tourist. I enjoy the zoo and the many museums Denver has to offer, along with road trips to Estes Park, Breckenridge, and Garden of the Gods. During the summer, I have to experience a Rockies game for the food and people watching. When the hunger pains kick in, there are so many great local restaurants to enjoy, such as the Denver Biscuit Company, Pepper’s Asian Bistro, and Yolanda’s Tacos. Would also have to enjoy a comedy show at the Paramount theatre or a concert at Red Rocks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned along this journey, it’s that no one builds something meaningful alone. While I’ve put in the work, ELIME Technology—and my own growth personally—are the result of incredible people who believed in me along the way.

My clients deserve tremendous credit. Many trusted me early on, took a chance on me, and continue to put their businesses in my hands. That kind of trust pushes you to raise the bar every single time.

I’m also deeply grateful for the mentors who challenged me to think bigger, sharpen my skills, and grow not just as a professional, but as a leader. Their guidance made a lasting impact.

And of course, my close friends and family have been the steady foundation through every late night, risk, and new chapter. Their encouragement—especially in the moments when the vision wasn’t fully formed—made all the difference.

Success is never a solo act. I’m thankful for the people who helped shape mine.
