Meet Estephani | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Estephani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Estephani, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I’ve worked 4o hour shifts since the age of 16 and maybe to some that’s not a lot but It tends to be an endless battle of feeling like you never have enough time for the things that matter mostest or even to things that don’t matter at all!
I tend to work 9/10 hour shifts most works day 5 times a week, I make sure that on the days I work I give myself an hour (or two ) to relax / eat and genuinely do nothing as a reward from working all day (because you and I deserve AT LEAST that). After my free time I try to be productive with small goals I set for myself that have to do with my well-being. On my days off I try my absolute best to work on content and music as early as possible In the day in order to give the rest of my time to my loved ones.

It’s definitely not the best routine nor am I the best at having a good balance but it definitely beats doing nothing ( Even though I love doing nothing most days) It’s just what works best for me and if money wasn’t a problem I would give all my time to my artistry.

I don’t think my balance has changed overtime but working on a set schedule has caused me less stress and better planning for sure!

My name is Estephani, I’m a bilingual artist from Denver, Colorado. I make Spanish and English music & even a bit of both together. I strive to be your alter ego, the subconscious voice reminding you that you are worthy of all great things regardless of the obstacles you face.

I am most excited about my visuals and music videos that will be coming out this next year, make sure to be subscribed to my YouTube channel to not miss it!

I overcome my challenges by crying FIRST and then having a positive outlook afterwards. I face challenges and lessons everyday but in the end it’s only up to ourselves to decide what steps we take next.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m really into places with a beautiful aesthetic and somewhere I can hangout so if your looking for a treat I would recommend Snowl, they have the yummiest deserts and the cutest space where you can take really cute pictures! If your looking for something to do in the night I would recommend Wonder yard! This place is a bit more on the pricey side but it has amazing drinks and the cutest backdrops for pictures! Now if your looking for something to do for free then I would recommend exploring all the libraries in Colorado! I know that sounds so silly but a lot of locations are so cool to explore as well as they offer such cool things you can rent out like Oculus / Nintendo switches and so much more and the best part of it all is that it’s completely free and you get to find out about other community events!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Thank you to my best-friends for always pushing me and supporting me since before I even accepted myself as an artist.
I will always remember when you guys got a party bus with 20 plus people and started blasting my unreleased music to strangers and always speaking so highly of me and my art (before I could even appreciate it myself), the continuous push and support of content you guys made and still make to get people to listen, and overall the best support system that money can’t buy, I love you girls <3.
