We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Katherine Coder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eva Katherine, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success has been my surrender to God and my listening to God’s guidance through synchronicity.

God has always been very clear with me from earliest days in choosing my career path. Certain doors would remain closed while others would open. In the beginning around 21 years old, this was a very frustrating experience. I was in a prestigious business school at the time and it became apparent that I was not to go in any of the same directions my classmates were going in such as Wall Street, etc. I was shown that I needed to choose a different path, or, otherwise, I would be deeply depressed as an older adult.

Following Divine guidance has meant that I have had to take many “leaps of faith,” often choosing paths that my family or friends would not choose.

I am grateful that God has been very clear with me in pivotal moments of my life so that I can choose and surrender to the path God wants for me rather than the ones I might choose for myself that would not be good for me. As it turns out, God has led me to much Beauty and very deep healing of my self in this lifetime. Through this, I can be of better service to the world and to God.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my own business in Miami working with groups and organizations in the social change space helping the helpers be more mindful, intentional and conscious. What opened up was a shift I did not expect of receiving requests to work one-on-one as a transpersonal coach, and so I said yes to all of those and started a private coaching practice.

My private practice grew, and I began leading my own groups in the shamanic, psychedelic and personal growth space. All of this seemed to happen really naturally. My biggest challenge with my business was after I moved to Colorado and had my son and did not have much time to re-build my whole practice in a new state.

While the pandemic was awful in so many heart-breaking ways, it helped me re-build my practice online as everyone needed to move online. I also moved much more into trauma healing training, particularly somatic trauma healing and legal psychedelic trauma healing so I became much better at healing and could offer my clients so much more than I offered them when I first started out.

My continual lesson is in trusting God to guide me in my work, which has always been very spiritual. I have to trust being guided out of work that was financially successful into what is more of where God is wanting me to be, knowing that I will be provided for in all the ways that I need to be. My work has always been a huge act of faith.

I have overcome so much in my life, from the earliest days. I have met many challenges face to face in deep, intimate ways. I have been re-born many times, each time coming through the rebirth portal more whole and more capable of holding the light. I am far from being done with my personal work, but because of my own deep work, I offer my clients profound care and holding. Deep human meetings soul to soul, body to body.

I remember Heaven, and I’m here to help bridge heaven and earth in the most ordinary of moments.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d definitely need to take a few great hikes — Lion’s Lair and the Anne E. White trail for something close in. I love the Cerain St. Vrain trail up near Jamestown also if we’re up for a drive!

Hygiene is one of my most favorite little spots now. Shopping at Low Rider is so fun followed by a snack or coffee at either the Mountain Fountain or the new Cafe Fritz. The Dharma Farm has low key art showings and music worth checking out.

Lyons is always a good time — taking the kiddos to Laverne Johnson Park, hitting up the women’s song circle Saturday mornings at the Lyons Library, and snacks at Moxie are all hit the spot. Love the new Spanish restaurant, Farra, and farm-to-table Marigold for tasty dinners. Highly recommend Mojo Taqueria for a yummy kale salad and generous tacos too!

As for Boulder’s Pearl Street, I love Wonder for healthy smoothies, bevvies, and juices. Oak on Fourteenth is my most solid go-to for farm-to-table, delicious meals and drinks. I don’t drink alcohol so I always appreciate a good NA cocktail. Other restaurants I love on Pearl are Jax, The Kitchen, and Avanti foodhall for something more casual.

Also in downtown Boulder, I always want to take newcomers to the Dushanbe Tea House for tea or brunch as it’s so beautiful. The farmer’s markets in Boulder and Longmont are a heart-warming and tasty way to spend a couple of hours.

Off Pearl, Dry Storage is amazing for artisan breads, pastries, and a highly curated selection of meals. Their sourdough is hands-down the best in town.

Roots Music Project in Boulder hosts talented artists for evening fun, and Boulder Theatre often has a good selection of music as well. Starhouse is a really special place up Sunshine Canyon that has conscious and spiritual events. It’s a wonderful place to visit and spend some time in the sacred spaces created on the property. If you love to sing kirtan, Vali Soul on Valmont is an uplifting time Sunday evenings. In the summer, Jamestown has these whole town music events with dinner which are family friendly and off the beaten path.

I’m a big fan of YogaPod Longmont for some great teachers including Kevin Flynn and Tearson Bickmore for Heated Flow to get a good stretch and workout with a side of laughter and inspiration.

And, I wouldn’t want to forget the farms! I love everything the Elk Run and Yellow Barn farms are up to from classes, retreats, happy hours, weekend events and farm-to-table dinners and music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am very grateful for my current Sufi guides, Salima Adelstein and Dr. Ibrahim Jaffe, who guide the path of the Shadhilliya Way. Through their direction and their schools, I have been able to dive even deeper into the path of Unity and the path of returning Home. They have helped me move through tremendous grief, pain and trauma into more clarity, wholeness and love.
