Hi Fatai, how has your background shaped the person you are today?

Hello, I’m Fatai William, an Afro beats artist from Lagos, Nigeria. Growing up in Lagos basically taught me almost everything I know. I was raised in a Yoruba household and

was molded around my culture. The Yoruba’s are known to be well educated, Party starters and creative Geniuses.

Everything I am today is a result of my culture and Upbringing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

The Studio keeps me busy, I just Love and Enjoy the creative process of making Music. I am proud to be an Afro beats artist in Denver, Colorado.

I am blessed to be in this position as I am able to share my culture and express my thoughts in real time through Music and Fashion.

Finally, I have Big Goals. I will make it to the Grammys One Day

What sets me apart from others, I am authentic and unique. I am self motivated and a Go getter. My style is different and I’ve been told my voice is to Die for

I am here because I want to be here. I love creating Music. I love creating Fashion. I love creating, Period. Personally, I enjoy watching people have Fun.

I want to make a change in the entertainment space.

My Biggest lesson is to be nice to people because you never know. Tomorrow Is a mystery and no-one truly knows what it entails.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the Beach, I will take you there everyday lol the Ocean helps me release and refocus.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
