We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank Sinclair and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Frank, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The dropout rate among entrepreneurs is atrocious. I wanted to create a platform of coaching that could empower and encourage them forward and help them navigate the often discouraging road of business building. Inspired by my three executive level children I knew I could connect and inspire movement.
What should our readers know about your business?
My practice is built around the premise, “ if you follow the natural process of your story it will lead to your purpose”. Our tag line, “Bridging the gap Between Discouragement and Hope” encapsulates our purpose. Instead of the traditional assessment model, we intuitively get to the heart of the clients strengths and help them build upon those. We teach to hand off the weaknesses. I believe building hope lies at the foundation of discovering oneself and doing business well, I help instill sustainable hope.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Geez, I am 64 and quite frankly that isn’t my thing. I could arrange a week long itinerary from my home base Colorado Springs however. Day one would be a tour of the Garden of the Gods, old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, actually this is the first 2 days with stops at local eateries. Wednesday a restful morning before exploring the downtown night life. Thursday a trip to the Royal Gorge with a train ride through the mountains. Lastly a glamorous trip to the Broadmoor for lunch and dinner that evening with a old style band.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So many deserve recognition. First my wife , Michelle Sinclair who is my biggest cheerleader and encourager. Richard Brooks who rescued me from homelessness 38 years ago. My children, Randy, Danielle and Brianna, CEO’s all for helping me see my worth. Books, everything John Maxwell, Relationomics by Dr. Rick Ross, Uniquely You by Ron Kitchens, The Hope Quotient by Ray Johnston and all things Simon Sinek to name a few!!
