My professional journey has been quite a ride! I’ve worn many hats, from managing teams in retail and restaurants to battling wildfires and delving into graphic design and creating jewelry. Throughout these diverse experiences, art and creativity have remained steadfast within me, shaping my identity since my earliest memories.

I took art classes later in life, one of them being metalsmithing. The instructor looked at my work the first day of class and told me I was a natural. That encouragement ignited a passion within me, driving me to soak up every bit of knowledge the class had to offer.

This delightful hobby took on new meaning when someone commissioned me to craft a custom bracelet, transforming it from a simple pastime into a potential endeavor. Discovering the opportunity to turn my passion into a source of income made the decision easy.

While my path to a career in artistry wasn’t a straightforward progression, my innate artistic nature and creativity were always present, being nurtured by various life experiences. It was amidst this diverse backdrop that the call to pursue art as a career found its opportune moment.

I pour my heart into crafting copper jewelry that’s inspired by the beauty of nature. What distinguishes my work is the fusion of intricate craftsmanship with the serenity of the natural world.

Because I use a thick gauge copper, when a person picks up one of my bracelets, they usually comment about the quality and detailed work of the etching. Each creation resonates with individuals who value unique, handcrafted items – it’s like wearing a piece of nature’s tranquility.

Getting here professionally took dedication. Transitioning from a full-time job to metalsmithing demanded years of juggling both. Late-night crafting sessions were the norm for nearly four years, but that sacrifice laid the foundation for my business.

It wasn’t an easy journey, but it was a calculated leap grounded in hard work. The value of persistence turned my passion into a fulfilling livelihood. Every piece crafted during those late nights embodies the dedication and perseverance that fueled my dream.
